I grew up on bread pudding, also. Haven't made it myself in years because I don't think anyone in my house would eat it. I found Home Town Buffet makes really good bread pudding and so does Mimi's Cafe. They serve it with the whiskey sauce.

I always go to Plaza Inn. The fried chicken is delicious!! Also, you can sit outside and watch the parade if you swing it right. We also like Carnation Cafe. The Jolly Holiday has good sandwiches, soup, and salads.

If you go in October, kids get in free at the zoo, Safari Park and Sea World, too, I think.

I've stayed at Comfort Suites on Camino del Rio South in the past. It's a really nice place with 2-room suites and breakfast. It's very close to the zoo and Sea World, also.

If you can swing it, a Mac. Look on the Apple website and find a refurbished one. They are just as good as the regular ones. I have a Mac desktop and have never had a problem with it. No viruses or anything.
