I have never seen this claim once, let alone multiple times. Perhaps you mean "if you have kids, and are doing a lot of character meals and/or buffets, than maybe the Dining Plan can work for you financially??

Is there a bus to/from AK/TTC? What about HS/TTC. I didn't think park buses (or any buses) go to the TTC? Or is it just resort buses that don't go to the TTC?

OP is doing Candlelight Processional Pkg at Coral Reef. That is a fixed price meal, and the 10 and 12 year old will be paying adult prices. Not sure about from which menu they can order, and what they can order, and portion size (if allowed to order from kids menu).
I think 3FP+ wouild be ok if FP- was still around. But if FP- goes away, I'm not sure if it would be enough. Unless for some reason the standby lines get shorter.
