    DAS question

I also can be in the parks for a limited amount of time. We do exactly as Maggie’smom suggests. It works out very well. One of the nicest things about the DAS return time is that it doesn’t have a time limit. So, if for some reason you don’t get back to the ride until an hour after your return...

    DAS for RA

This is exactly how it works for me even with a DAS. And, I don't use an EVC since that would make my individual issues worse. My issue has nothing to do with mobility. I don’t understand the resistance to utilizing a tool that can help you. Rent an EVC if you need one - why would you choose...

DAS for Rise of the Resistance?

Thank you midnight star! This is exactly why I will not even consider using a DAS for this ride until the crowds lessen. I suspected that the crowds and movement would be excessive at the ride. For me, that part would be worse than having to wait to get a boarding group. The ride will still be...

Navigating WDW with Post Concussion Symptoms

If you are eligible for a DAS you will still have to wait on the Fast Pass line. It often runs along side of the standby line so it is noisy. Often times you merge with the stand by line. You may want to take ear plugs or headphones. Try to take breaks in a quiet spot. We find sitting outside to...

Navigating WDW with Post Concussion Symptoms

Read the ride descriptions and warnings. If they warn about back problems then I would be careful riding with post concussion symptoms. Disney can be very overwhelming especially with sensory issues. Take your time and try to have some quiet times in between rides. I find the restaurants to be...

    DAS question

You tell them the reason you can’t wait in line. Be aware that on the more popular attractions you will be waiting in line for more than 15 minutes but usually not more than 30 minutes.

    DAS Pass Question

A DAS will help but the FastPass line at the more popular attractions like Soaring or FOP is often more than 20 minutes.

    DAS and Candlelight Procession

DisneyOma - I think you are misunderstanding what I did. I have a DAS for a Medical reason. I cannot wait 45 mins to an hour on a line. I rarely use my DAS since most waits at Disney are far less than that and it is rare that I am able to go on the more popular rides for a variety of reasons. I...

    DAS and Candlelight Procession

I’m not sure what you are referencing. We did not use a DAS. My husband waited in the regular standby line. I waited elsewhere and met him inside the theater once he was inside. We did not enter the theater early. We entered at the same time as everyone else in the standby line.

    DAS and Candlelight Procession

I’m the OP. We went last weekend and were told we needed to use the stand by line or purchase the dinner package. They do not accommodate the DAS. My husband stood in the stand by line and I met up with him once he was inside. It worked out very well. I did have one CM tell me that I had to wait...

DAS for Rise of the Resistance?

While I agree that those who can’t handle opening crowds (I am one of them) are at a disadvantage, being able to have special access wouldn’t be an advantage to me. That entire area is going to be super crowded and anyone who needs to avoid the crowds needs to avoid the entire area until things...

My granddaughter got a splinter in her foot at Blizzard Beach last year and they removed it at the First Aid station. They were so nice and went out of their way to make her comfortable.
