Hi! We arrive at MCO at 8:45 PM and taking the ME to the Beach Club. I'm guessing somewhere in the 10 o'clock range we'll be starving....any suggestions of anything that may be open in that area or should we plan on the late night room service menu? Thanks!

It's a $1500 limit before they charge your card at a Deluxe (except for the initial room charge if it's a room only as others have previously posted - that's due at check-in). I believe it's $500 for a value and $1000 for a mod. On our last stay at the Yacht Club, I went down to the front desk...

No hold for us either...but when we "hit" the $1500 mark worth of charges 1/2 way through our trip (staying at YC) it was processed and then we started over with the rest of the balance being processed the day of check-out.

I had overflow rates quoted for October for the Boardwalk (might have been Beach Club) and it was 20 or 30% off - so I booked direct to get the 40% off for the military deal.

Just confirming what JoanneNC said...the military discount is treated differently and dining plan is eligible to be added. Also, I had booked packages at the BWI when the military discount came out. I had to be refunded for the two packages (in full cause I had paid off early) and rebooked...

We really enjoyed our breakfast there. Great interaction with the characters and the food was really good. We do not normally care for buffets, but we loved this one.

I also agree with the PP's to make it for 6. We were supposed to be at Disney right now :sad2: with my parents, but I had too much going on at work. They went on without DH and I and when they checked in at the restaurants just told them it was 2 instead of 4...no issues.

This was along the lines of my first thought as well. I've known people to only have bulbs in some of the bathroom fixtures because of the brightness, etc. So it very well may have been the previous occupants that unscrewed the bulbs.
