Very, very disappointed with Disney food

I am sorry it rubs you the wrong way. I spent 2.5 days in the parks, and would have spent more had I been able to. I chose not to eat in the parks due to my experience at the Coronado food court and TS restaraunt. This seemed very logical to me, but apparently doesn't to you. I have no...

Very, very disappointed with Disney food

Well, I did venture out of the hotel to feed myself. I went to Ruby Tuesday's and similar places and even to McDonalds (which was far superior to the food at the Coronado). Fortunately I had a car. I've heard enough people rave about the food at the Pepper Market food court that I felt I...

We love CSR and we cannot not lie!

See, I rely on this board to help me make my decisions on what to see, try, eat or stay:) So that is a big difference. Only my choice of hotel was dictated by the convention I attended - most of my other decisions came from what I read on this board.

We love CSR and we cannot not lie!

Hi Caren!:) I liked CSR too. The bus transportation was great, the pool is awesome, and I loved the hammocks. I particularly thought the resort was beautiful at night, and I felt very safe because of the great Disney security. It is just that the food was bad. It seems that maybe only...

We love CSR and we cannot not lie!

I thought the Pepper Market was awful, too. I would not eat there again under any circumstances. But I have already posted my thoughts in the dining reviews section.

Very, very disappointed with Disney food

I guess all I can really say to that is opinions vary. The Pepper Market was probably the worst place I have ever eaten in my LIFE, and I have eaten a lot of food in my lifetime. :p I didn't think the portions were especially large either.

Very, very disappointed with Disney food

I was at Coronado Springs for a convention last week. Ate at Pepper Market for lunch one day, and that was about enough for me. My friend had a sandwich (I believe it was tuna) and the cheese was hard on the edges like it had been sitting out all day. The coleslaw was rancid. I saw sooo many...

Is your cell phone a "want" or a "need"?

Definitely a need here. It is my only phone. I used to have broadband phone, but I just never used it, so I dumped it.

    Overweight and Obesity at WDW

I'm a fat chick and haven't been to Disney since 1974, but I don't anticipate any problems. I'm a size 26/28. I don't think I can post links yet, but if you google "Walt Disney World at Large" you will find a lot of good information on ride sizes. http://allearsnet.com/tp/ridsiz.htm...

    Does anyone go bagless?

My camera goes around my neck. Do I look like a dork? Probably. Do I care? No. :p

    Does anyone go bagless?

I have been reading all these threads about bags, and I really don't like hauling a lot of stuff around. I was going to go with my camera and a neck/wallet badge holder for my cash, credit cards, tickets and whatever else I need (this is what I do on cruises, and it works really well). Is this...

    National rates down - slightly

I got a week of Emerald Aisle for $131.20, using Emerald Club contract number and ND41 coupon - August 8-14 (I know this is one day short of a week, but it was cheaper to get a full week than it would be to get 6 days). Am I likely to be able to do better than this?

When you go to the parks by yourself....

This is awesome news, though I'm sorry that you felt bad. I am a fat chick and don't want myself or anyone else to be squished on a ride. :teeth:

Going alone to the parks - what's the big deal?

I'm single and have been all over the world by myself, though I haven't been to Disney solo yet (my last trip was in 1974 with my family). Compared to Jamaica, I don't think Disney will be a problem at all! :thumbsup2

What kind of Sunscreen do you use?

I use Loreal Ombrelle. It is photostable and contains mexoryl, which you can't get in the U.S:(. I get a friend who lives in Canada to send it to me.

When you go to the parks by yourself....

do they make you sit on the rides with a random person, or do you get to sit by yourself?

Scooter rentals now TARGETING the lazy!! (LONG)

Perhaps you could bring this up with Disney. You could institute a "need" test, requiring a complete medical history, for the past 20 years or so, so that someone could be the judge of who was fat due to "a genuine problem." While you are at it, make sure that you institute a "need" test for...
