    Minor vent

Not a big deal really. Just an ongoing thing about little brother thinking big brother doesn't know anything. After 40 years I don't expect it to change. And little brother would love all the wursts and the beer. Just not my thing.

    Minor vent

Just found out that my brother and his family are going to DW. They haven't been before and we have. Thought they might ask our opinion on things to do or pointers but guess we don't know anything (serves them right if they get stuck eating the "wurst" at the Biergarten  ).Vent...

HELP, please review PO-Riverside and All Star Movies

Depends on how much time you will be at the resort. You get what you pay for. DW prefers the moderates because they are a little less hectic, a little larger, a little better landscaping and transportation, but my attitude is I can sleep anywhere so I prefer the budgets. I'm frugal but DW...

The pros of being an older parent?

DW and I are in our early 40's with a pre-schooler and a first grader and don't consider ourselves "old". We don't necessarily have as much energy as parents in their 20's but we are at a point in life where we are spending more time living life with our kids than trying to make a living.

OT: How do you handle death?

Said a prayer for her, her family, and others involved. Unfortunately I have lost too many family and friends along the way. Faith, hope and time are how I deal with it.

    The COST of volunteering

It isn't what it costs, put what you gain. 'I tell you with certainty, since you did it for one of the least important of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.'

    Family ---ot

From a different forum.... F A M I L Y I ran into a stranger as he passed by, "Oh excuse me please" was my reply. He said, "Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you." We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye. But at home a...

    Lap Child or own seat

Flew once with an 18 month old. Get the seat you will appreciate having it. Just don't stop at the curb to drop off you wife and kids and unload the car or you will have a parking enforcer slap a $100 ticket on you for trying to help out:mad: (It wasn't nice of me, but I wished him a life...
