    Jungle Cruise with recorded spiel?

I agree! We just got back a few weeks ago and were disappointed that it was no longer live. They also changed Catastrophe Canyon - it used to be an "accident" that we were caught in there - now it's just all part of the "special effects". It really took away from the experience and made it...

    Lion King at Animal Kingdom

I agree - to me this is a show that defines what makes Disney great. Incredibly talented performers, and of course great music! Do NOT miss this show. We went to the last show a few weeks ago, and walked right in - no problem. We got there about 10 minutes before the show started.

which animal trail to do at AK?

We never miss the one with the gorillas - we have seen some incredible sights there! One time one of the "teenagers" was beating on his chest, just like every cartoon you've ever seen. It was awesome to see it "in the wild"! THe tiger trail is good too, but pretty much every time we've been...

Free cups of water at the park?

You're kidding! We always freeze partial bottles of water, then fill them up with regular water so that we have cold water during the day - I've never had a problem bringing them into WDW. So you're saying they will make me toss them, since they've been opened? Okay, if that's the case...

Ever wanted to see SPACE MOUNTAIN with all the lights ON?

I agree - I went on SM during the cast member preview when it first opened - the lights were on, and it was MUCH scarier - you could see that the next overpass was going to chop your head off!

Why do they force you to the 5 late at night?

I'll second that - we've gotten caught by this also! We live straight across Ball Rd about 8 miles - no freeway at all - so it's a real inconvenience to be directed to the 5. I wish I knew the reason for it too!

How far is it around Epcot??

I wore a pedometer a couple of days - in Animal Kingdom, EPCOT and MGM. I was amazed that the amount of walking that we did was almost identical in all of the parks - about 7.7 miles each day. It was almost eerie how close they were. Tomorrow is MK - we'll see how we do there!

    New Mission Space

We were at EPCOT today, and when we went to MS, (around 11), the standby line for the non-spinning was 5 minutes - the intense version was 60 minutes! We did both (on different days), and felt that the non-spinning was still a good ride - if I hadn't already ridden the spinning, I don't think...

    Any Water Park Tips?

I vote to not bother with the water shoes - they're too much trouble. We were at BB last week, and never did the "hot pavement dance". Most of the people we saw did not have them on - or they were carrying them!

Pretty Disappoointed with Tour Guide Mike

Hey, everybody! If we don't say anything good about TGM, then there will be more of "them" to laugh at - so, hush!!

    Vacation Home?'s

The house that we're renting apparently has a keypad, but it's just for storage for the key (I guess like a realtor's lockbox?) - the house itself has a regular lock. So you may not have to deal with the keypad that much. We only plan to eat breakfast at home - maybe a dinner or two, but I...

Where can we buy decent bagels?

Thanks, all! I am not familiar with Manhattan Bagels, but we will check it out. We're from California, so "real" NY bagels are somewhat foreign to us. We're pretty happy with Einsteins and the like! Glad to know about Panera - I haven't tried their bagels, but we LOVE their sandwiches and soups!

Where can we buy decent bagels?

Are there any bagel places around? We are staying in Davenport, but are willing to drive a little! I found an Einsteins on Sand Lake - is there anyplace closer? We're just not fans of Lender's from the grocery store!

    Are Touring Plans really beneficial?

Do the touring plans help that much if you are very familiar with the parks? We have been many times, but we've always gone at off times, when the crowds and heat were manageable. Now that the kids are in high school, we have to go in summer - so we'll be there the last two weeks of June. Do...
