Yes, you do have to get through the guard at CBR. They just let you through if you say you are eating. Head towards the Martinique area as that is the direction of Riviera. The roads go through as Riviera was built on CBR and they never changed them.
Ha. They have been doing that since at least May 2022. I was asked that last year when I was there. I thought about it again when I was there again last month.

I had that issue too. I had to call the number 877-650-4327 and Guest Services was able to merge the cards. They said the website has been having issues.
I am not a huge roller coaster fan either. The first time I rode it I did see the track periodically throughout the ride. I found focusing on that to be good. I loved the ride. Ended up being able to get on the ride two more times that day. One of my favorite days in Disney (Best day ever!)
You have to check the directory of both places to see if there is a particular store you want to go. 90% of them are at both. However, there stores that are only at one of them. For example, Victoria's Secret is only at I-Drive. Lululemon is only at Vineland. You might end at both.
If anyone has Tickets at Work, try pricing a car out through one of their partners. I am going in January at the best rate for an intermediate SUV was through their discount. I booked through Alamo.
There is a Chuy's Tex-Mex restaurant on Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy.
I think the best off site restaurant is 4Rivers Smokehouse. Excellent BBQ. Locations are a little far out like Winter Garden and Winter Park. They have a few other locations too. It is well worth the drive.
