From what you described I would say that the game is lagging. This is very common during testing stages and will most likely increase overtime as more players get added to the beta. Although I have to say that Free Realms is nowhere near as bad of other games I have tested. POTC was terrible...

I am a Level 20 with only a Mana level of 66, so it runs out pretty quick if I do a few big battles in a row. I should probably be changing my outfit to something else after seeing what levels of mana everyone else has. :rotfl2: I guess the more stylish outfits have a lower mana.

I find the best way to fill mana is the Skull Riders minigame. To me it's the quickest and easiest, but I am sure it varies person by person. Try it and you will be surprised at what you can get for only making it a few levels.
