We may or may not make a trip to WDW in early May. But I read a really good article on Fast Pass Plus which said Fast Passes can be claimed 60 days out. Given we are inside 60 days, am I out of luck on the best slots?

As has been noted several times as newbies you try everything and form your own opinions. The one thing I would add though is skip the generic rides at the Magic Kingdom you can experience at your home town park or fairgrounds.

As noted weather is a bit of a variable. We've been twice in mid-February one trip was sunny the highs in the 70's and 80's the other featured lows in the 30's and day time highs in the 50's.

I understand sponsorships and all but for one of the preimire theme parks in the world to have such a dated and tired attraction is embarrassing.

Agreed, the update would be easy and fairly cheap. Still, we love the attraction...it's a great big beautiful tomorrow starting at the end of every day!

We've been twice during Presidents Week and yes it is manageable. If you arrive at opening and you plan properly you'll be fine.

We have been to the World twice in February. On our first trip we got a sunny day in the low 80's that was great except it was a bit cool on the lazy river. The second trip was mostly in the 50's and the closest to water we got was the hot tub at the resort.

He had some good theories on park selection and on how best to use the Fast Pass system but once you read them their was no reason to pay him again. I found his site hard to navigate and as mentioned parts were quite out of date.

This attraction is so old! Alex still with a moustache, Jamie Lee still hot and Ellen still...anyway I hate an attraction that we first saw it my kids were in grammar school and it hasn't changed even though now that my kids are in college.

Given Fantasmic draws bigger crowds to The Studios I would guess the impact would be negative.

The "kids" are 20 DS, 19 GF and 17 DD. It would appear that for our group two rooms would make the most sense. As to the sleeping arrangements, we"'ll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Looking at the Disney website the cheapest option wold appear to be two rooms at either a value or a moderate.

I can't say I've ever understood taking an infant to Disney. Our kids were seven and ten for our first trip.
