    HRH questions from a newbie

I definitely agree with the cheap hotel for Friday. We did that last year. We stayed at the Wyndam on I-drive for $32(priceline) and then checked into the Portofino the next morning.

HELP!! What else to do in Orlando??

How about Gatorland? There is also a lot of touristy stuff to see on I drive. We also enjoyed spending time at DTD. There is also nice outlet malls and malls. You could also tour some of the other Disney resorts and check out the pools. Hope you enjoy your trip.

    100% WDW - I agree, I disagree, I have no opinion

I have no opinion. I love fantsyland and toon town.......but (sigh) my kids are now tweens 10 and 11 and have very little interest. They only like the big rides, really don't care about any shows, and prefer Universal. :wizard: Wish I could turn back the clock for one more trip.

OT: Baby names you didn't name your child

I think it is neat when a son has his mother's maiden name, or another family name that is a last name such as the above or names like Davis, Mason, Holland,Reeve, etc. But my all time favorite name is Peyton--however this is unisex name so it might not be considered that strong...

Priceline - Fear of the unknown

I've been extremely happy with Priceline. I think the only way to bid is to research on the websites that have been mentioned. I usually only bid resort but have won great bids in New Orleans, Orlando, and a few other places.

    Compare Atlantis to Splash Mountain

IMHO Atlantis is not nearly as smooth as Splash. I think it's quite frightful too. My dd's loved it though. I prefer Splash.

    Any suggestions for universal restaurants?

My family likes the food at City Walk much better than the food in the parks. They love Margaritaville, NBA City, and the Nascar Cafe.

    DTD Hotel for 1 night...

Check out the mousesavers website. They always have good rates. I would bid priceline "resort only" and keep my bid below $80. You'll have a good chance of getting a good deal. Hope you have a great time. I've always wanted to stay at the CR.

    Feedback on the Hilton

We stayed there a couple of nights in 2003 and are considering staying there again. I think it's a great choice--especially if you can use HH points. The location is excellant. You are just across the street from DTD. The pools are not elaborate, but my kids enjoyed them. The bus system is ok. I...

How do you clean your Crocs?

Plain ole dishwashing liquid works great. The armour all is good for shining them up. Aren't Crocs great? My kids love them. We wear them all the time. They are perfect for the soccer field!! :disrocks:
