MK every ride in one day

Excellent advice. I'd move to a later morning ADR, so you can maximize those early morning hours riding rides.

    REMINDER: Keep your stuff close

I'm sorry, but this makes no sense to me. WDW has thousands upon thousands of guests per day. The parks are huge. Even if they could somehow find that specific video footage, how could they possibly "track down the culprits", identify them, and then find them, much less arrest them? It's not...

    Sling bag suggestions

That's a big list of items you'll be putting in the bag. Between the three mister fans (which are heavy when filled with water), two water bottles, and a change of clothes for your daughter (plus the other items), I'm not sure if everything will fit in a "medium" size bag. I'd recommend...

ROPE DROP: YAY! OR NO WAY! ??

I think you can look at the concept of standing in line a couple different ways. If you arrive at the Parks 45 to 60 minutes before they open, you're waiting in line. Or, you can wait in really long lines later in the day. Either way, you'll be waiting in some lines. But for me, it's well worth...

What do you do if you have a bad cold the day you leave?

I agree about the "Earplanes" earplugs if you have to fly with a head cold. My first WDW trip, in the late 1980s, I had a cold and it caused really painful pressure in my ears during the flight, especially when the plane descended for landing. My ears were completely stopped up for three days...

How Long Does It Take You to Get Ready

This. Different people have different habits. As long as you both agree what time to leave, and she's not making you late, what's the main issue? Is it the fact that you end up waking up super early and can't get back to sleep because she's being noisy? Maybe you can compromise and ask her...

Uggghhhh! Broken Toe...19 days to trip...suggestions needed!!

I've used a knee scooter two separate times, after two different foot surgeries. The kind that you put your knee on and push with your other foot. I wouldn't recommend it for Disney World. It's okay for short distances, but pushing yourself around all day long for several miles would be...

Do I need sweatshirts the end of November?

Bring 'em!!! If you don't end up needing them, that's great! But better to have them and not need them, than wish you'd brought them. Most Disney sweatshirts are $50+ per item. If need to buy them for more than one family member, that could get expensive really quickly.

Debating to go to Chef Mickeys or Hollywood and Vine??

Pretty sure the "Fab 5" are at Chef Mickey's, not H and V.

Anyone done Keys to the Kingdom AND Backstage Magic tours?

I completely agree. Loved Keys to the Kingdom , but was very disappointed with Backstage Magic. Backstage Magic takes up an entire day, and cost more than twice as much. I did enjoy the "costume shop" part of Backstage Magic, but thought the other things on the agenda were pretty boring and that...

    ECV first-timer

I used a scooter on a few Disney trips when I was having problems with my feet, as well. The advice that others have already given in this post is great. From my experience though, there's one thing that you really need to be aware of. I was very surprised about was the fact that people were...

What Snacks Do You Pack for the Parks?

I make my own trail mix. Raisins, nuts, MMs, and pretzels. Nice combo of protein (nuts), carbs, and sweets. I also bring those little tubs of peanut butter, Jif brand, to eat with celery sticks or apple slices. Toss in some raisins, to go with the celery, and you get "ants on a log"!

    Lions missing from Safari

Yes, they do. Found this out on a behind the scenes tour several years ago. They drilled holes in the rocks and push cold air upward through the holes. It's an incentive to coax the lions to stay on "pride rock" and viewable to visitors. You'll also see piles of "browse," (i.e. plants) put...

Do you use the drinking fountains and what is the quality of drinking fountain water?

The quick service water is filtered so it tastes just fine. And it's free, you don't even have to buy anything to get a cup of quick service icewater. In fact, you can walk right up to the place at the quick service counter where you pick up your food and ask for a cup of water. You don't have...

Agreed. I go barefoot except for the restroom.

    WaterParks worth it

You can wait to add the water parks option onto your passes after you arrive. Then you can see what the weather is like when you get there. We did that once during a late February trip, because we didn't know if it be warm enough for a water park. Ended up being a great day weather-wise our...

    The Weather in February?

For my February trip several years ago, it was a mixed bag of weather. A little bit of rain, a few days warm enough for the pool, and a few days that were a little cooler. We bought clothes for warm weather and cooler weather, plus rain ponchos. What we found out with you have to be willing to...
