You aren't out of luck if you want a system with XP. If you buy a system that comes preloaded with Vista Business or Vista Ultimate, you have automatic downgrade rights to switch to Windows XP without having to buy another license. I know that with some of the HP laptops we have purchased, HP...
I think you have one too many I's left over. Are there any hints as to how many words are in the anagram? Does DISNEYLAND TIKI PEW make any sense? DISNEYLAND PET KIWI? DISNEY PIT LIKE DAWN? DISNEY DIP KITE LAWN? DISNEY NEW PLAID KIT?
I leave on the 6th and I'm not too concerned. The weather can change so much during the next week that it isn't worth getting worked up over it. I'll keep a closer eye on it as my flight dates approaches.
If you want to quickly compare gas milage between vehicles, try http://www.fueleconomy.gov . It lists the EPA estimated fuel economy for vehicles going back to 1985. It lists the 6 cylinder 2008 Malibu as 18City/29HWY.
I received an email yesterday for a room\ticket package using code QXG. This is for stays from most nights 9/28/08-12/03/08 and 12/11/08-12/23/08. I'm not sure if this is a Canadian only code or not, but the email was listing the price in USD.
Canadian Tire ususally carries them in the sporting goods section with the camping equipment. If Wal-mart has them, it will probably be in their camping section as well.
My trip also starts on Sept. 6 and I haven't received anything yet. This is normal though, since I booked this trip through AMA (CAA Alberta). The trip documents usually won't arrive at the local office until the 3 week mark. This package is sent by AAA Vacations, so it contains my itenerary...
If that is the case, this photo was probably taken at Disneyland.
This page describes it as being part of the Opera House building, in DL's town square.

Yeah, it's the corn syrup in the U.S. Cokes that make them taste so different. I usually can't finish a U.S. bottle or can just because it tastes so bad. On the plus side though, you can find Mexican Coke there which is made with cane sugar that is way better than ours.
You can do these types of conversions in Google as well. If you type "100 grams to pounds" in the search box, it will return "100 grams = 0.220462262 pounds" on the next page.
This also works for currency conversions. If you type "1 Canadian Dollar to USD", it will give you todays exchange...

I took some photos when I was there back in October. The setup is similar to the "One Man's Dream" exhibit, with a display of models and information boards.

I was able to use my Canadian Safeway card in the U.S. locations without any problems. The cash register was able to identify me by name just like the Canadian locations and I was able to get the discounts just fine. The only thing that was missing was the Airmiles points.
It looks like it is only for outbound international travellers. That is how it is listed in the airport's shopping guide.

I agree with SoccerDogwithEars. It is definitely Donald Duck and it looks like Daisy Duck as well. Is is the statue of the two of them shopping together in the "World of Disney" store?
For those who are still looking, consolewatch.com is still tracking Canadian online retailers and will alert you when one of them has stock. I tried it out again today, and it did alert me when Amazon.ca had some in stock.
I used this site last year to get my Wii by having it send an e-mail...
I've flown this route before on Delta. From what I remember, the Edmonton - Salt Lake portion was on a CRJ-50, so there was no entertainment provided. The Salt Lake - Orlando portion had overhead monitors for the movie, and a few audio channels to choose from in the seat controls. I don't think...
