help get me interested in Coco Beach

We are planning on 4 nights in Orlando and 4 nights in Cocoa Beach. That is all the time we have. If we had more time, I would spend months on the beach! Go ahead and go, beach days can be fun. 1 or 2 days seeing Cape Canaveral Visitor Center plus tours. Maybe horseback riding, bikes...

    Looking for some vintage items..

Thanks for the watch link. I'm trying to remember the Alice watch, I think it just said ALICE on it and it came with a ceramic figurine. I have had no luck either with the Disneyland Colorforms. I will scan what I have over the holidays. Thanks again.

Anyone been to Glacier National Park?

I've been there a few times. Beautiful place and worth going to see as the glaciers are melting and won't be there for long. Driving for me is not a problem over Going to the Sun Highway. I would research at www.nps.gov for Glacier Park. Also not to send you away from the DIS, but...

Not sure if anyone can help... I've got some items that I would like to find for sentimental value. My mom asks me every Christmas if I have found a Pinocchio watch, which was stolen from our house in 1972... never have found a replacement. She is not getting any younger..... I'm looking to...

How important is it to say at HoJo or Candy Cane Inn for a one-nighter?

For one night, I doubt it matters, but check prices at Carousel Inn, BW Park Place, Tropicana, and some of the others along that stretch of Harbor. We usually stay at Carousel Inn as it is very close to the crosswalk to DL! They have a rooftop pool and a small, free breakfast.

    Comments/Suggestions on this SoCal Itinerary?

I would skip the Tijuana trip and visit Old Town, border towns are just not that great and there has been increased violence due to drug gangs. Old Town will be fun. Also near to Disneyland is Carousel Inn, closer than both Hojo and Candy Cane Inn. We like it and plan on staying again next...

    Mac and Cheese disappearing?

Say it isn't so!!>!>!>>!!> My son as a young kid would only eat Mac and Cheese when we traveled. He was afraid that any other food would have spices in it, lol! Can we let the parents choose the food for their kids?

    Southwest Sampler Birthday Trip; Suggestions?

I think too much in Sedona... but most is doable...... 7th: Visit Montezuma's Castle and then go see Sunset Crater/Wupatki National Monument. Even tho Meteor Crater is interesting, I think that seeing Sunset Crater/Wupatki will be better. Stay in Flagstaff. 8th: If you don't end up...

Just back-Bad experience at POR (long)

We had no problems at POR with our housekeeping, in fact the room was kept very clean and the mousekeeper made interesting stuffed animal sculptures with my son's toys. We had our laptop in the room, plenty of luggage and never any problems. I have stayed in motels/hotels/b&b's (of all...

    Rental car

The Camry will probably be better for your trip. A bit more luxury, room, engine capacity (to get up the mountains) and actually not that much less of gas mileage than the Prius. Camry much more comfortable in my opinion! Enjoy your trip.:)

    A question about Boma

We are adventureous eaters and found enough to eat at Boma, but found most of the options not good. There was a great variety and we were full when we left but totally disappointed. The mac and cheese was good, the hummus was excellent, soups were tasty and most everything else tasted the...

    Yellowstone question

I would look at www.nps.gov/yell and have the kids pick some places they want to see. I like the Lake area and you can see that part of the park on the way to Cody. Have a picnic lunch on the lake! Enjoy your trip.

    Must Eats on Vegas Strip

We had a good meal at La Salsa at the one at Luxor. We had a stuffed fajita quesadilla, some tacos and a burrito! All good. Service was ok, not great but not horrible either. Good prices. http://www.lasalsa.com/
