Recent Experience for Lunch at BOG?

I'm not sure on the time they open but we got in line at 10:40am and the wait was already up to 45 minutes at that point. I have had other friends say that they got in around 10:00am. If you want to have lunch around a 'normal' time, I would suggest getting in line by 10:30.

Recent Experience for Lunch at BOG?

and the wait was around 45 minutes to order our food. Once we ordered, the process was pretty quick. There is a tremendous amount of seating in the three dining rooms so the real hang-up is getting through the ordering process. We all enjoyed our meals tremendously!

Who's in for May 2013 code watch?

I am (currently) flexible for which week we travel. Our 20th anniversary is in March but we've decided to wait until May for our anniversary trip. We honeymooned at Disney so it just seemed appropriate to go for our 20th, too. :lovestruc We also drive from NC...flying is nice but we enjoy...

    New Fairfax Fare menu?

and it was dreadful. I had such high hopes! :( The brisket was fatty and the chicken was dry. My baked beans had apparently cooked ALL DAY as they were just mush - no identifiable beans! It can't even remotely compare to Cosmic Ray's.

    Pop Century

I grew up going to Disney. We only stayed at the Contemporary between 1975 and 1989. I honeymooned at the Grand Floridian in a concierge bridal suite. I first stayed at Pop in January 2004, just after it opened. I LOVE Pop. I'm not sure I can put it into words but no other resort feels like...

Mom's Club in home Celebration ! Boxes are arriving - 77 DIS'ers in so far

...from my experience with the box last year, the emails came out several days after Disney originally said they would. I know that doesn't necessarily help... :)

On my next trip to WDW, I vow to...

Fantastic list! I, too, am printing it out (we leave on Saturday for a short shuttle launch/one day Disney trip). We vow to thoroughly enjoy our hotel - Pop - while there since we only have one park day. I am also trying to convince myself to ride ToT... :rotfl2:

    Blockout Dates Information Updated

So you were able to get the FPs with only a one day ticket? I keep seeing 'valid, multi-day ticket' and we only have tickets for one day (this is primarily a space shuttle launch trip). I guess you can say that I am paranoid...:)

    Cash only stuff

I have lost the word for them, but the carts in MK where the person cuts out profiles. They take either cash or a credit card - no room charge. Maybe I should say this was my experience from two years ago. I haven't had another one cut on our more recent trips.

Best color to order for Baby Jogger City Mini

I have a preference for red but red was not available in my area. My stroller is orange (which is still one of my favorite colors). I used it at Disney in July. While there are a lot of BJCM rentals that are orange, I had no problem picking mine out of the crowd. There have been numerous...

    Which Value Resort For Us?

We found this to be true at ASMu, too. The poolside activities are great - I haven't noticed them at sports or movies. The buses there were occasionally wonky but it worked out fine. That said... To the OP: I LOVE Pop...it is our resort of choice any day! I have never had an issue with...

Pics of 4-5 year old in Baby Jogger City Mini?

We don't have a double, just a single, but my then 2yo son used it at Disney with no problems. At the time, he was 41.5 inches and 40 pounds. We still use it at home - he is now 3, 42.5 inches, and still 40 pounds. I bought it because I knew it would work well for him as a large (haha)...

    Christmas at Pop Century - December 20 - 26, 2009 - with pictures (More pics on pg.2)

We are planning a November 2010 trip. Our debate was over a pirate room at CBR or Pop...after much deliberation, it just came down to the fact that we LOVE Pop. Your post and pictures further confirmed our decision. Thanks for sharing!

    Coral Reef for non-seafood lovers?

My sister and her husband had the strip steak in July and they loved it. My then 2yo son had the chicken dish off of the adult menu (my 10yo son is a Disney 'adult' and only eats pizza, chicken fingers, etc. but my 2yo will eat anything). The waiter kept trying to talk us out of it because the...

Did you visit in Nov or Dec? Question for you.

I did not go in November or December this year but... I have been in mid-November for the last 5 years...the holiday merchandise was not discounted then. Several years ago, we went in mid-December and those items started being marked down (50%) while we were there. Two years ago, again in...
