We are doing the family 5 k at Epcot during the Princess half marathon weekend. We have never done a Disney race before.
Is there any advice on where our family can meet up at the finish of the race? Do we start in the same area as the finish? Just worried about getting separated and not...
We are doing the steam trains tour at the MK. Need to be there by 7:15 so the reservations person said plan to be at the Contemporary about 7 and give them the confirmation number for parking. I guess I'll stop by McD's on my way (the long way around) from Coronado Springs to pick up my father...
Having a SW credit is dangerous. I causes conversations at our house like "you know, Flower and Garden is coming up and we do have some credit on SW....."
Back to the OP's original question:
Check the web site a couple of times a day. As the flight draws near, elite members may be upgraded, and passengers on full business fares may chage their plans. I frequently change my seat at the last minute to get an empty middle seat next to me.
We bought a transport chair for my mother-in-law. It has made three trips to WDW on Southwest. We like having the chair with us all the time because it makes things very easy.
She can walk enough to get up the bus stairs (a little pride issue) so we just carried the chair on, but for...
It is not uncommon for us (family of three) to have six reservations - three on the way down three on the way back. This gives you the most flexibility in getting travel credit. Always price out the single fare first. If there is only one seat left that is $40 cheaper, I'll take it instead of...
If you have an "A" boarding pass it is statistically impossible to have enough seats filled to deny you of the option to sit together as a group of two. If every person in the "A" group was traveling alone (which is not the case on Orlando flights) and only picked window or aisle seats, you...
Even if you don't get your tags - don't worry. We have been in that situation before. Just check your bags as if you had the tags, then go to ME desk in Orlando with the claim checks. They will send someone to the baggage claim area to get your bags and get them in the ME system.
I have always been afraid of this so I have my notebook next to my desktop with blackberry nearby and check in on 3 devices. Interested to see what others have experienced.
We don't take much as a carry on with Southwest since each passenger gets two free checked bags. We take three or four large suitcases for three of us and fill them to about 80% to allow for purchases on the return trip.
Also, SW overhead space is not at a premium like on other airlines...
We are very comfortable driving around the World. I would not have a problem doing this myself.
I would watch the parade somewhere in the first aid / Pizzafari area so that you can head out immediately following the parade. You should be able to be exiting the park around 4:15 at the...
