    Grand Californian Super Thread

Where are the woods view rooms located with the daybed for a family of 5? I would like to be near the lobby elevators. Are there any categories other than standard view that are close to it?

Nonsuch - I was looking at your map & on the ground floor of the DVC wing there are 4 rooms that are not color coded. 1500, 1503, 1511 & 1513. Do you know if these are DVC studios or regular hotel rooms?

Donate Oogie Boogie Tickets to Charity?

2 or 3 of our family members might not be able to go. They won't find out until it gets closer to the party date. They want to buy the tix now, in case the date sells out. But, rather than just tossing out the unused tix, they would like to donate them to a charity where someone could benefit...

Buying Oogie Boogie Tickets - Timing

I logged in at 9:30 am on my phone and laptop. Checked periodically throughout the day and it always said wait time was over an hour. Checked for the last time at 5:30 pm and it said wait time 25 minutes. So, a mere 8 1/2 hours later I was able to reserve tickets! And my old laptop ended up with...

On our last trip we were in a Courtyard/Woods view and did not have a monorail view. Our room was on the DCA side near the GCH entrance. Although, I did request that location. On a previous trip we requested a monorail view and got it.

Gay Days Weekend--Recommended for younger child???

My question is regarding crowds. We will be there with two 4 yr. olds & doing the kiddie rides and shows at both parks. We are staying at DGC for the close proximity in case we need to break for naps. We are arriving on that Wed., (doing MHP that night) and departing on Sun. So, we will have 3...

to go or not go to the Halloween party

We are considering this as well. Will have two 4 year old girls with us. Not sure if it will be worth it. Any feedback would be much appreciated from those who have done it with this age group in the past. What rides are open for this age/size?

Sharing at 50's Prime Time Cafe

This is the place we pick to pay OOP when we have too many places on our list. And the food is reasonably priced compared to some other DP places. We split meals, too. That way we can save room for dessert. When you order the "all white" chicken, ask your server if you can get 2 breasts. It...

San Francisco Dining near Orpheum Theatre

We were in the city last week to see Wicked and ate at the Market Street Grill. It's located in the Hotel Whitcomb right across the street from the Orpheum Theatre. There were 5 of us, and we all really liked our meals. Not sure of vegetarian dishes. You can google it and view the menus.
