Having stayed in monorail and non-monorail hotels, I wouldn't pay the extra just for the monorail convenience. Only if you really love the resort.

About a month ago my TA was able to extend my original ressie at the BC(booked at the 40% off) by three days. I was able to keep the discounted rate for all days, but since she did it for me, I'm not sure of the procedure. Good Luck!

I also use SWV ... My agent is great. I do like to plan, but it's nice to have someone looking out for deals and helping with all the ADR's and different ressies. She will usually get back to me within a couple of hours when i email her.
