Well imho I think you need to be discreet, since WDW is full of all different people from all different backgrounds and ideas. But there's no reason it will offend anyone if you're discreet. Some people will allow everything to be seen and not be discreet and that's what bothers or "offends"...

There are many reasons for me. (at least for the parks) The rides and technology, especially the audioanimatronics have always fascinated me ever since the first time I went. I love rides that tell a story. I love feeling like I'm part of a story, rather than just watching it like in a movie...

IMO I think MGM. However I suppose it depends on their personalities and interests. There are only some things I like in EPCOT and since I am interested in the entertainment industry MGM was always my favourite, I went when I was 11 and 15 and both times I liked MGM better. I still do now...

Personally I don't see any reason to 'avoid' any time you get in the parks! Even if it's crowded hey it's extra time to have fun. The only thing is if you dont have park hoppers-which i highly recommend-in which case it is a harder question since the parks MAY be crowded more that day...

I think to just talk to them enthusiastically about what youre going to do next or what youve done or what characters they want to meet etc- they love being there and theyll probably be less cranky or bored if theyre looking forward to something. also you might want to have a drink or snack on...
