    best functional souvenier?

The suveniers that I am still using are: my tigger hoodie (I love it when its cold enough to wear it), the EPCOT CD- I play it in my car and it takes me back to illuminations and even Tapestry of Dreams, I use the WDW backpack as a purse - the thin one that lays flat when it's empty, I have a...

    Digital Cameras

I am extremely "Technologically challenged" and I have had no problem with my Kodak Easy Share 5.0. I am also always testing for gravity, and I have bounced this poor camera all through WDW. Once I dropped it so hard that the casing popped apart and I snapped it back together and it still...

Any MISTAKES made on past trips?

I agree about the balloons being a pain, but my daughter "NEEDS" a balloon! So, I let her get one while waiting for a parade at the end of the day, at the beginning of our trip. Then we just have to deal with getting it back to the hotel. She then has it in the room and doesn't "NEED" another...

    now i am torn

I have stayed at ASMovies and POFQ. The All Stars are nice, especially with little kids. The rooms are a little smaller and a little noisier. At POFQ, you can boat to Downtown Disney or POR. You can also walk to POR. Most of the buses pick you up and drop you off first. You also get two...

    Pop Century Food Court

We were there in December, and were pretty disappointed with the foodcourt. I was craving a meatball sub, after having one at the French Quarter food court, but even though they are, I believe, the same price, the Pop foodcourt did not toast the bun, leading to a soggy sub. The tie-dye...

    Magic express service????

We used it in December and it worked fine. Not a long wait to get on the bus. I think we were the second of 3 stops. We were there early in the morning (0930 or so), our room was ready, so we dropped off our carry-ons (which contained our meds and a change of clothes and bathing suits) and...

    The night before Disney..

That would backfire on me.... My dd would surely be upset that she was not going to be seeing her dad and it would put a damper on the first day or so of vacation! (She sees him regularly and is 14, but at that age she would get very upset if her schedule was changed, especially without her...

what do you think so far?

Are you planning to eat at World Showcase? I love eating outside at the Rose 'N Crown and watching Illuminations! We just did it last Thursday night, it was a bit chilly, but wonderful!

Are you a dog person or a cat person?

Deffinitely a cat person, but I wish I had a neighbor with a dog I could walk! My cats bathe themselves and can be left alone for long periods. When I go to WDW, I just have someone check in on them every day or two to make sure everythings okay.

Breakfast ideas for DH's office [Update pg 3]

What about a breakfast caserole? I've seen them, I think, on kraftfoods.com, where they have eggs, sausage, etc., or a stuffed french toast - the bread is cubed and layered with cubes of cream cheese, then you pour an egg mixture over it, let it sit in fridge over night and bake it in the...

Who will be at POP next week!

DD13 and I will be there 17th - 23rd. First time for Candlelight Processional. Can't wait for DD to see the snow on Main Street for MVMCP. She was there 9 years ago but doesn't remember the snow part. I guess that's understandable since it was our first night at WDW and it was raining!

How important is it to YOU to stay on property?

I've stayed offsite before, but once we stayed at WDW, I can't imagine doing it any other way. I love not having to leave the magic, and not driving! I know other places have shuttles, but I don't mind Disney buses, and if I need to be somewhere fast, I'll call a cab (learned that last trip...
