    Fans for strollers?

when we bought, i don't think it was this brand, but we have these flexible, clip-able, foam fans. always worked well. http://www.amazon.com/O2-Cool-1261-Flexi-Clip/dp/B008281NG2 small and flexible enough to just throw in a bag. light enough for a kid to hold. batteries last a long time...

Disney While Pregnant - A few Questions

We went in December 2010 with my wife at 33 or 34 weeks. we just moved a little slower and a couple of days she headed back to the resort for a rest, which was fine with our 2 y/o. She avoided: Test Track, Thunder, Splash, Space, Everest, Dinosaur, ToT and RnR, but the time everyone else...

    Disney Documentaries

the modern marvels one is on You Tube, as are a few "making of" kinds of things. I know my son has repeatedly watched one on the making of Expedition Everest. I know i've searched "making of disney world" and "disney world behind the scenes" and gotten lots of stuff. I also bought this...

    Lost Child Safety

Another great thread to plug Road ID. http://www.roadid.com/kids/ Both of my kids have the Road ID slim. 5 lines of text. $18 for the tag and one bracelet. extra bracelets to move the tag to are just a couple of bucks. (and you can often find free shipping codes online or at your local...

    BLT v Kidani Showerhead?

Totally unimportant question, but being curious: In 2010, we stayed at BLT and the shower head was uncomfortably needle-like. (not just me being a baby. all 7 adults in our party hated it) We're staying a Kidani Village in December and, given the similar ages of the two...

Fort Wilderness Segway Tour - reviews?

Did it in December 2010 with a group of 6. Tour was good until MIL hit a fence post, flipped off of the Segway and broke her arm and leg. Fortunately, she waited until we got back home to have the resulting surgeries. Moral of the story-- watch where you're going. it's easy to drift. The...

    Silicone I.D. Bracelets For Kids

Another vote for Road ID. My son hasnt taken his off since our Disney Cruise in December. My daughter wont stop taking hers off, but we're working on that. High quality product. Lots of options. plus you can buy one tag and transfer it among multiple band colors. I got my kids the Slim...

    Freshly Potty Trained Trip

we kept one of these in the bottom of the stroller for our freshly trained, very skinny 2 y/o last time we went. very easily portable. http://www.amazon.com/Kalencom-2-in-1-Potette-Plus-Green/dp/B0016KYMMU we also bought a backpack style camera bag that could hold all of our camera stuff, and...

    Best NON Park QS meal?

another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express. high quality food and (at least in 2005, 2007 and 2010) very nice portions.

    Boma

just to be clear, Boma is at animal Kingdom Lodge and not Animal Kingdom park. and the two don't connect. You'll have to take transportation. but it is a really good restaurant, and a great resort to see.

Boma or Ohana? Help me pick!

unless the kids are adventurous eaters, there's really nothing special about Boma for them. O'hana has kids activities, and its neat to see the food cooking and brought to the table on the long skewers. Plus their dessert is awesome

    Ideal excursions for a 3 & 4 y/o

you may also want to google cabs in cozumel. From what i recall they are on a fee schedule and hsould be able to show you a fee schedule to any major destination before you get it. I think most rides max out around $20-ish for a car load of people.

    Ideal excursions for a 3 & 4 y/o

We took a cab to paradise beach and back, then walked around downtown, and i never felt for a second that anything was sketchy. The cabbies know all of the spots you may ask them to go to, and I would expect that most speak at least rudimentary English. Just leave youself plenty of time to get...

    Ideal excursions for a 3 & 4 y/o

Just did those stops with a 4 & 2. we did paradise beach in Cozumel which worked out well. I would have liked to do ruins, but a ferry ride to the mainland and then a buss ride would not have worked for my kids. we did Turtle Farm in GC and really liked it. check out these threads...
