I cook my hamburg before freezing as well. What I usually do is buy 3-5lbs, put on a baking sheet, season with S&P a little garlic powder and cook it in the oven. I'll stir it up a couple times while it's cooking to break it up, then let it cool and store it in 1lb-ish portions in a freezer...

I'm going to go one step further with this.....While at Yankee Candle today I saw a great idea that would go with the Hot Cocoa. It was three marshmallows on a lollipop stick, drizzled with melted white chocolate and crushed peppermint. They were super cute and looked yummy!
