Check out the Urgent Poll on the Restaurant page

I don't think a flat rate for tip (i.e. 10 dollars for every DDP table, or 5 dollars per every DDP guest) is in the best interest for Disney if they want to maintain high service standards or encourage higher sales within their restaurants. A flat rate will lead to exclusively volume-based...

    Crocs MaryJanes for $15.49

Dicks does not let you exchange. You can only return, and they won't give you the same deals if you try to repurchase the same shoes. (I learned this the hard way!)

    Wine from home?

We were not able to bring in our own wine to California Grill last year, even after inquiring about a corkage fee. I may not have pressed the issue quite enough or with the correct person, but I do know that Disney mark-up on wine is ASTRONOMICAL (as is everything, I suppose...hah!)

    Adding A Tip....Changes?

Last summer we visited WDW on the DP and often purchased additional items when dining at table service restaurants (bottled water, alcoholic beverages, etc.). We were always able to add an additional gratuity to our liking. When we returned in the spring, all of our bills were missing the...

    Funniest Lines in WDW Attractions

Also, many of the lines from the Jungle Cruise. On our recent trip, we had a particularly saucy skipper who took liberties with many of the lines, but did exceptionally nice improv on the "That can only mean one thing!" line. Instead of the typical (hilarious) "Hippos," our skipper...

    Funniest Lines in WDW Attractions

We get our small jollies from the Spanish version of "Please stand clear of the doors" on the Monorail. "Por favor mantagnese alejado de las puertos!" (spelling liberties taken) We almost made t-shirts last summer.

    Dining Time at Le Cellier

I think we're going to drop the reservation and go to Spoodles at 9:45 instead. Thanks for the info.

    Dining Time at Le Cellier

We made an 8:00 reservation for two adults at Le Cellier. Can we do our three courses at a decent pace and still make 9:00 Illuminations?

    Great 'last minute' rates??

We booked last Saturday for a weekend starting this Friday, and not only were almost all of the resorts booked, all AAA discounts were taken. No, not any kind of deal. At all.

    Crowds next week

Thank you for the input. I guess we'll just anticipate big crowds, and hope for the best! Its scheduled to be in the 70s, which is warmer than here, but still cool. I don't think we'll know what to do with our only comparison trips being in July.

    Who's going March 25-April 2????

We just planned what we're calling our "fix" trip March 24- March 27. We're doing it on the cheap, and can't park hop. We're desperately trying to decide which park other than MK.

    AAA Package Discounts

Thank you for the info. I met with another travel agent who had the same result as the previous, but she explained to it to me as she worked. I guess we'll just know for the future that the AAA packages are like the rooms: limited. The important thing is that we're going to WDW in...

    Crowds next week

We're going for a quick trip next weekend. I've checked crowds ratings and I see that they're a seven. Is the difference notable between the level eight crowds we normally experience in July? The temperatures have to make the crowds seems smaller, right?

    AAA Package Discounts

We're planning a way-last-minute, cheap trip for next weekend. When I called my AAA agent, she quoted me total for a 3-day package, which I took, assuming it had some discount. I then checked the website, and the AAA rate is the same as offered through WDW's site. I'm absolutely fine...

Anyone choose Citricos ahead of Cali Grill?

We TRIED to choose Citricos over CG, but they're closed a few days a week. Monday and Tuesday maybe? That might impact your decision.

What's your favorite white wine in the "World"?

Correct. Its quickly becoming the new American table wine. Of course, it is more highly allocated than many of your grocery store brands, so it's a matter of perception.

Adult only restaurants...dare I suggest it?!

What if WDW just stopped offering Children's Menus at a few restaurants? That way, children are not excluded, but a parent does make the commitment for their child to fully experience a finer-dining experience. Right now, all WDW restaurants have children's menus, save V and A. I think...

What's your favorite white wine in the "World"?

It is AMAZING what a winemaker can do to those little grapes! I like French Chardonnay, but I don't like buttery, oaky classic California chardonnay. I get to sample a lot of wine in my work and I'm always fascinated by the way two different winemakers can create totally different wines from...

    Wine lists

On our trip in last August, I asked about corkage fees for CG and Jiko and we were told that we were not allowed to bring in our own wine. :confused3 I work with wine and the mark-up WDW (and just about every restaurant) passes to the consumer is just nuts! Maybe I'll press the issue a bit more...
