After last year's marathon, I grew blood blisters under 2 toenails and eventually lost those two nails. It might have been due to the socks :confused3 . I would like to try and prevent that from happening at this year's half. Any suggestions that I might be overlooking?

My worst half time too! My sister got sick several times during the run. Glad she made it to the finish line!

I'm loving the lows...just want the highs a little more up there! I did the Jersey Shore half in May and it was brutal!! Did A LOT of walking and had Fred Flinstone feet at the end! I think my back still has tan lines from that run!

2 questions: What's up with "Weatherforyou"? They need to get their highs out of the 50s! Which company pays their forecasters the big bucks? I'll go with them!

I should REALLY stop looking at the weather because it's starting to depress me!! The temps are looking great but the precipitation not so good! When do you think the forecast is "set". I know how Florida weather can be...but what's it been like in the past?

I'm having issues with the flash on my camera. A puff of smoke comes out when I use the flash. Has anyone had this problem? If so what have you done to have it fixed? If not...any suggestions?

I'll have the annual pass...so heading into Epcot and then taking the monorail over would work out fine. Thanks for the idea on the crowds. After running the half on Saturday, I don't know if I'm going to want to get up early and head to MK...it's definitely food for thought though! Thank you!

With all the roads being closed down for the Marathon...would it be best to go into Epcot in the am and take the monorail over? or will the roads be open and fine for traveling? I'll be staying in the Boardwalk.
