    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

Last year was the first time we've ever done CL in all our 25 years of going to Disney and we LOVED it! We also did a 4 resort stay. We didn't do CL at every resort though. Since it was 16 nights total, the cost would have been too much and we would have been bored eating in the lounges that...

    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

Not to step on toes but we did 4 resorts last year and it was GREAT!! We stayed 4 nights at each one and it was like a new vacation each time! We did Deluxe and the transferring of luggage was fantastic. Our rooms were all ready by 10am being we were told, that they are trying to have the rooms...

The Wilderness Lodge FAQ (Part 6) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

Last year, for our 25th I had the same thoughts as you. I booked the inner courtyard standard CL because I wanted a MK view. Well, we were upgraded to the Honeymoon Suite. While it was a nice upgrade I was worried about not getting that view. Our first 4 nights were spent at WL before we...

    Split stay-Luggage transfer questions

Well, when we did a 4 hotel stay last year it was very easy. I packed up the night before and first thing in the morning I called down to bell services to get the luggage picked up. When they arrived at our room, usually w/i minutes I would tell them where we were going and then tip them. All of...

The *ALL NEW* Polynesian Resort FAQ thread - *APRIL 2009*

I always bring a power strip. Just make sure it's the good kind with that approval tag on it and the circuit breaker button. This way if it was to overload a circuit it would just shut off instead of actually tripping the circuit.

    Worst Room View Pics Thread

The funny thing about your view is if you were a few floors up it would have been a fantastic view!! We were one floor from the top and our view was great! We were above the trees that were in front of you.

A perfect week at the Yacht Club-Apr.26-May 2/09 Lots of pics! THE LAST UPDATE!

Why not do a split stay? If you're staying long enough, it's fun to do. We did 4 our last trip and will do 4 again next year. It's like 4 vacations in one!

    What a disaster!!

Good luck with that! Years ago I sent a letter to them to request permission for a high school play to be performed. I did receive a confirmation letter telling me they had indeed received my letter and will get back to me soon. Well, I am still waiting! It's been 8 years:confused3 I think I...

    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

I would keep the present reservations! While the CL at WL is nice, it's not fantastic nice. Right now yo have a courtyard room that most likely has a view and the DDP. If you have to get a standard room you will most likely wind up with a view of either rooftops or delivery doors. For that extra...

The New 2008 Beach Club and Yacht Club FAQs thread

I remember reading this a few month ago. Many people were getting this on their reservations and were told not to worry about it. There is NO pirate view, so...I wouldn't worry.:confused3

The New 2008 Beach Club and Yacht Club FAQs thread

I don't think there are any full sized bedded rooms. I think all deluxe are queens or kings!

    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

While the machine is still stocked with the "icky" stuff, it's almost bearable when made as a cappuccino. That was the only way I was able to drink the coffee at the WL CL last year.

    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

We were at AKL in May. We stayed that trip at the WL, CR and AKL CL and only the AKL had the hot cereal option. I was told it was served there year round. Then again, AKL also has scones and tea cookies in the afternoon while CR and WL don't, so maybe it's just what they offer:confused3

    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

Last year we stayed at both resorts CL. There are some big differences in the 2, IMO. WL is small with seating along the railings looking down on the lobby. The food area is closed between offerings. The food offered is nice but there is no hot cereal in the morning and only 2 foods at night ...

The Wilderness Lodge FAQ (Part 6) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

MK view is the room I had. That's the one with Wishes at night and working dock and trees during the day. I think the other category is a view of the water, which is a better "view" during the day but no Wishes at night. When you "speak" to IPO tell them which you want: a nice water view or a MK...

The Wilderness Lodge FAQ (Part 6) Simbas and Tiggers and Humphreys OH MY!

Make sure you put in a request for a room with a view! There are 4 suites. 2 have a view of the loading dock. 2 have a view I think of the lake. We had the loading dock view....while it was very private, we didn't do much sitting out there since there wasn't much to see. There was one perk...

    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

We had breakfast every morning there. We would stop in when the appetizers were put out and make a small dish of the crackers and spreads and then have a couple each of the hot offerings. We would then come back later for the deserts. We found on many days that was enough for us for dinner. On...

    Concierge/Club Level Information (Sept 2008)

He's at our house too! If you can find a way to make him leave, let me know! I'm just thankful we don't have a disney trip planned this year because as of now I don't even know if we'll be able to do a "regular" vacation elsewhere! Good luck to you!
