We were there from 10/23 to 10/29. The parks might have been crowded compared to most Octobers, but compared to July (when we usually go) it hardly seemed crowded at all! Only one day seemed busy to us, and that was Saturday. Now that was just like July.

I just booked 6 nights at POR in Alligator Bayou for five of us (my DH, DD16, DD12, and DD10). After I reserved, I called POR directly and asked them exactly how big the trundle beds are. I was told they are 65" long (5'5"), which dispells the concern that they're only good for up to 8 year...
