I just had my first and I am 25. I think it was the right age for my husband and I and I wouldn't change it.

I had my baby shower April 2nd and I am due May 16th. So I was almost 34 weeks. I had to fly to my shower because it was in NJ and I had no problems with traveling and being comfortable at the shower. I think the July date would be fine as long as you are comfortable with it.

I am currently pregnant with my first and I did not show until 18 weeks. Before that I was just bloated. By 18 weeks I noticed a small bump. By 22 weeks you could tell I was pregnant. I am 5'6 and and small. It normally takes longer to show with your first.
