I know the where I'm going for breakfast my first morning! ::yes:: We need to start a petition for a drooling Smilie. ;)

I am the one under scrutiny, I don't know much about ward of the state stuff.

I work in an adolescent facility where most of our kids are wards of the State (Missouri). If the child is in the system and her mother is on supervised visitation then it is correct that you will have to pass a background screening to be allowed to have the child in your home. The actual...

    MNSSHP Costume Help Needed Please!

My brother (28) wore that exact costume to MNSSHP on Halloween night last year. There wasn't a single issue, other than him being serenaded all night by random Ghostbuster fans. :thumbsup2

What is your Strangest "thing"...(inspired by phobia)

My food can't touch when it's on the plate. Each item has to stay in it's own area on the plate; Thanksgiving makes me insane, trying to keep all the stuff segregated. Imagine my horror at Rose and Crown when they brought my order of Bangers and Mash to the table. :lmao:

Who else is spending Valentines Day ALONE?

Saw II comes out on DVD tomorrow, I'm having a horror movie night. What better way to celebrate Valentines than watching slasher movies? :lmao:

Who else is doing the greater than 6 month drag?

Us too, we just cracked the 10 month point. :cheer2: But if things don't straighten out at work, there may not be any vacation time available this year. We are way understaffed and budget cuts are making new hires a non-option. The drag may be extended. :sad2:

    Universal vs Disney Resorts

You can also ask on the Universal boards. They can give you the Universal perspective. :thumbsup2 http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=30&f=8

Post your pictures of Disney Dining Food Here...

I'm not sure about a dress code, but here is a menu that will help you gauge the cost for two adults. http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menu_gft.htm

What charity would you bequeath your $ to if you had no heirs??

Nurses for Newborns, the local Women's shelter, local Children's home, American Heart Association and Diabetes Foundation. :thumbsup2

    Is Gatorland worth going to?

It would probably depend on how many of the shows you want to catch. We went and spent about four hours wandering around and looking at all the animals and managed to catch only two of the shows. However, this was probably my fault, I spent way too much time feeding the flamingos. :teeth: I...

Sorry for getting philisophical so early in the morning...

Sometimes there is a break in the rain clouds and a ray of light shines through. Whether it was divine intervention or a stroke of good luck, I'm glad the money came before expected and things will be easier to bear as far as finances go. :grouphug:

Who likes to shop at Walmart?

No disrespect taken, I took it in the spirit intended, my area is rural and pretty underdeveloped and I love it anyway. :cloud9: Here, the "good" jobs are few and far between if you want to work where you live. In this area, Wal-Mart is one of the 'better' jobs...it's actually pretty hard...

Who likes to shop at Walmart?

Well, my area is more "Boondocks" than "Podunkville" :teeth:, but I have seen Wal-Mart be the impetus for small businesses falling. Conversely, I have seen a death row prison as the impetus for Wal-Mart investing in the town, as well as McDonald's, Taco Bell...etc. In regards to the job...

Who likes to shop at Walmart?

Very interesting thoughts. Which would you say is more detrimental to society (as a whole, not specific to any one section); Wal-Mart's position of marketing and promotion of sales to poor people/areas which puts a stranglehold on small business, thereby ending the ability for small businesses...

Who likes to shop at Walmart?

I'm always amazed by the Wal-Mart threads.... There are some that are clean and safe, luckily about four of them are within driving distance of my house. If I saw anything like some have described, I wouldn't be a Wal-Mart shopper either. :confused3

    value resort ?

Don't count the mod resorts out either. We stayed at POFQ in October, which is known for being quiet and serene. Except for the kids in the room above us- every night we could hear their door, them running around the room bouncing around and all that stuff. You could also hear conversations when...

    Info on High Speed Internet

I was at POFQ in October and they do have high speed internet access up and running. It's about $10 for 24 consecutive hours access. :surfweb: Never had a problem with it the entire visit (13 days). :thumbsup2
