Normal? It's within standard deviation. But this always confounds me. If you are selling, don't you want the money? Side note: Based on advice here, I wait until the seller returns their closing papers (and payment!) before wiring the money. The horror stories are, unfortunately, legendary.

As a buyer looking for OKW points, I cannot fathom $158pp for OKW 2042. I can buy the same 25 points direct for $180pp and have the points in my account tomorrow for a grand total of an extra $550--and they'd be 2057, not 2042. But if the seller and broker can find a buyer willing to pay that...

Not my photo, but one I swiped from the Interwebs: Buildings closest to the first stop (Peninsular Rd) are 23-29, but keep in mind that buildings 23-26 are all categorized in the separate booking category, "Near Hospitality House."

I jumped at the chance a couple of months ago to book VGC with my OKW points for late June, knowing nothing was announced. Now that it seems standard booking policies are returning May 1, there are even more moving parts. I miss the days where my biggest concern was getting a good touring plan...

Because we have a kid that sleeps in the living area, our standard OKW request through MS: Building 30+, high floor, water view.

For Studios, OKW is my least favorite resort. Most of the things I love at OKW (so much that we recently purchased an OKW contract) are negated in a Studio--huge rooms, full-size W/D, the veranda! But a Studio in OKW is a glorified motel room. Another vote for SSR for this trip.

SAME! :rotfl: We've got a 230 OKW in ROFR now that will nearly double our point total. Did I need 230? No. But that mind game of "If they want more per point for 160 than these other sellers want for 230, it's really a small difference. And who couldn't use more points?" It's a slippery slope!!
