In 2001, we were there the day of filming, and yes, it was post-9/11 so they'd just started the policy and they checked our bags. Nothing was confiscated. Our video camera was left untouched. In fact, I have a picture of Regis and Kelly from a bit of a distance, during that day.

Though Tom Sawyers Island at Disneyland has changed, it is by no means a bad change! Many of the new pathways and stairs are great and offer wonderful views ( and are easier for an adult to fit through to go with thier child). I doubt they would close the island all together in Florida either...

The literature I've recevied from Disney Visa states 1 per day per card. For example, my DH has a card and so do I. It's the same account, but we should be entitled to 2 free pictures (one for his card and 1 for mine). I plan on taking that written info with me just in case of a misunderstanding. ;)

Well I have to admit, I don't expect them to do anything for our anniversary. In fact, to make sure we get a little TLC, I'm bringing some candles and a "Happy Anniversary" Banner to hang up in our room. :)

I ALWAYS bring a backpack to Disney theme parks and I've NEVER had a problem with it on rides, etc. There is usually room. Occasionally you have to find some creative place to put it (like Rockin' Roller Coaster, down by my feet worked, with one foot looped through a strap just in case)...

Do they still give out those 3D glasses where you can see tiny angels dancing around the lightbulbs? We were lucky enough to get them in 2002 and it was great!

This time next week, I'll be enjoying my first full day in the parks with our friends who are coming to help us celebrate our anniversary! If all goes according to plan, we'll be in MGM, grabbing dinner and touring a bit before the evening's main event - the Osborne Family Spectical of Lights...

Yeah - I've been on it multiple times and we've taken her on the one in DCA twice, and she HATED it both times, so it's not worth ruining her day because we'd like for her to see the special effects - ya know. ;) Thanks ya'll! Good to know she'll be able to stick with us until the end! :)
