    Podcast 2.0 Thread 6

Yeah, my mother said that I should drop by and see my brother in Ft. Lauderdale while I'm there on my 4 day trip with no rental car. I'll just stroll down there...

    MVMCP - is this normal?

Well, if they start the party at 4 or 5, that means shutting down the park for everyone else at 4 or 5. That would be a real waste of a ticket for those daytime park-goers, since you're only getting about 2/3 of a day. I think it's horrible that they shut down the park as many nights as they...

    Have you watched B****in Kitchen?

They're having what appears to be a marathon right now. A couple of thoughts so far... Love the attitude, HATE the accent. I don't watch the Jersey type shows because it's so grating. But I guess that's what makes it so funny. Why can a word be used on TV, and not on here? Just...

    MVMCP - is this normal?

I've done MVMCP twice, and both times found it extremely crowded. I hear that if you wait it out until the end of the party, it gets more reasonable, but after battling the crowds of parents who think it's okay to shove in front of you to see the parade because "they have children and you...

    Random Question - Cats

Individual cats vary greatly, so it's best if you meet the cat before deciding. Bengals are extremely energetic, and can be aggressive (no, not all of them are...it's just a tendency). They are not hypoallergenic. I don't know what a Russian Siberian is...is it a cross between a Siberian and...

Just curious....what do people without ADRs do?

It does depend on timing...for instance, there is availability at 5 different plan restaurants for today and 4 different plan restaurants right now for tomorrow at 1pm.

See how you are? "We're having a wedding, but YOU can't come!"

Massachusetts, Connecticut, Iowa, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington,D.C. recognize same-sex marriage, and allow marriages in their states. New York, Rhode Island, and Maryland recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states, but do not allow the ceremony in their states yet. Same-sex...

    Any other space geeks?

The problem with the arsenic/phosphorus swap is that it is extremely likely that this does not indicate that live could develop with a completely different set of chemical elements. What it does indicate that the microbe most likely developed as all other microbes on Earth, with the same basic...

Just curious....what do people without ADRs do?

I've very rarely seen it when there was NO TS availability somewhere. It may be off times, it may be less than optimal places, but there has never been a time when I couldn't find some availability at a TS restaurant somewhere...even during Christmas week.

    Any other space geeks?

It has a lot to do with trying to broaden the understanding of what conditions might be conducive to harboring life...including life on other planets. It has even more to do with trying to get funding for studies of new planetary systems (being discovered all the time) and even moons and...
