Do they have stuff for my teenagers in the citywalk area? Again I just started checking out the two parks so I'm a newbie but learning everytime I can get on the internet.
Kicking around the idea of a first trip to Universal during the kids (17 & 13) April vacation. I'm guessing the park will be busy if not packed so is staying on-site and getting the benefits are tempting. We're not rich but I'd be willing to stretch the budget if the benefits are truely worth...
We stayed in Jamaica last April, it was great. Every morning I would walk to the FC for coffee which probably took 2 minutes each way. I can't remember our room number but we were close to the bridge. I would ask for a room facing the water. Even if you don't get that the resort is beautiful...
We stayed at the CBR back in April also. It was a wonderful resort and we loved everything about it. We never had any issues with the buses.
I think you'll have a great time no matter which one you stay at.
I can give you my take on the dining plan;
We went this past April on our first trip. We bought a package and added the dining plan. It work out great for us (DW, DS11, DD7 and myself). We made PS each night for a nice sit down meal. We had great meals and EVERYTHING was covered. We found no...
What I meant by that is;
I'm a healthy guy and I'm sitting on the bus. The bus is not full and it pulls up to a stop. As the last few people get on the bus it starts to pull away and a lady, elderly, young person is left standing. From what the post says I should just wait for them to ask...
Yup, just stick your head in the sand and pretend you don't see what happening around you.
Seems like the "magic" of Disney disappears the moment you leave the park.
Blah, blah........."why don't you just ask", blah, blah........."take another bus", blah, blah......."it's MY seat", blah, blah,........"rent a car", blah, blah........................
We stayed at the CBR this past April. Let me just say that I had the same concerns you have. We booked CBR back in November and after I found this site I read some not so great things about CBR. To big, so-so pools, bus service, food court, etc. I was really close to changing are reservations...
CBR get my vote! But then again thats the only resort we ever stayed at. My 10 DS and 8 DD love the resort and pools. Each time we went to a pool the kids meet new friends and had a ball.
I think I'd rather have an extra day more than a better room also. After all most of the time is spent outside the resort anyways.
CBR is a great place. We went this past April and loved it!!!
I'd request a corner room in Jamaica.
We stayed in Jamaica Bldg 44 this past April and loved it! We had a corner room and from one side could see the water. Wasn't really a big deal as we spent little time in the room.
Bldg 44, as well as 45, are very close to the food court. I walked over every am for coffee and it took 2 minutes...
We just got back from CBR and had no problems with the buses. We stayed in Jamaica and sometimes we were the first to be picked up/dropped off depending on which way the driver came in. On the occasions we had to be in the loop it never really seemed long.
We thought the bus service was great...
Like I said, I think that is a stretch. Seems like some are trying to twist the topic to justify thier actions. Like I also said people can do whatever they want, you don't have to convince me.
It's just that we were in WDW and everything was so nice, people were smiling, happy and polite...
