    I miss the Podcast.....

I am looking forward to hearing the wonderful stories about Bob that we've never heard before. Pete touched on one when he said that if anyone told Bob that they were going to DW that day; God help them. There's no doubt that Bob stories will live on through infamy.

A very sad day -your thoughts and prayers are needed

There is no doubt that God has welcomed Bob into heaven with open arms. There's also no doubt that he's telling Bob right now, it's heaven Bob, not heavern. We mourn the loss of a great friend to all of us, even though most of us had never met him. We will miss him terribly, and our thoughts...

Has anyone eaten at both Narcoosees and Kona Cafe?

We've eaten at Kona Cafe several times and love it. We are thinking about getting out of the box and trying Narcoosees for dinner during our next trip. Can anyone tell me about the atmosphere, and also, how would you compare the food between the two as far as quality goes. Thanks in advance.

How is the quality at San Angels?

Our family absolutely loves Mexican food. Though after eating at San Angels every year for the past 10 years, we finally had to say enough is enough, and skipped it for the first time on our last trip. The food quality kept dropping year after year to the point where the atmosphere just wasn't...

    the times of change

Guess what! You've just been hooked. Boy, they've reeled you in, and they've got you. We took our daughter when she was 2 1/2 and we were hooked with a very similar experience. We've been going back almost every year since and love every bit of it.

Are Theme Park View rooms at GF worth it?

As another poster said, how much time do you really plan to stay in your room and look at the Magic Kingdom. You will see it from every angle possible during your stay. We like to try request rooms as close to the bus line, and or monorail, convenience is much more important to us.

Why split time between two resorts in one trip?

Might be worth it only if you stay 7+ nights, and can't afford to stay in one particular class of resort the entire stay. Otherwise, it doesn't seem like it would be worth the hassle.

    Beach Club ????

Great location - best in all of WDW; Best pool at WDW; Rooms are a little small as compared to the Poly; The facility itself, just seemed like any other nice hotel we've stayed at, at other places. Really nothing special. Bus waits seemed to be a little long as compared to the Poly; We've...

Looking for cool quality disney gifts!

I was wondering; is there a website, or catalog where higher end Disney gifts can be found? A good friend of mine is a Disney nut, and almost has everything. I was looking for a birthday present, though most if the itims I've found are lower quality, plastic - kids oriented. Another friend...

    Am I wasting my money?

Absolutely not. That's really a great idea. Instead of losing a 1/2, or 2/3s of a day on your travel day, you get to enjoy it at the parks and resort.

"FAST PASSES SOLD OUT" a familiar story each afternoon.

This of course is a familiar story for most people during peak season at WDW. If you arive at any WDW park much past noon on most days and try to get a fast pass for Rock-N-Rollercoaster - MGM, Soarin, test tract - EPCOT, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain - MK, or Expedition Everest - AK, more...

How much cash per day should I budget?

Well, it really all depends. To us, being able to relax and enjoy nice table service meals for almost all of our meals, is a major part of our overall Disney experience. With all of the hustle and bustle of the parks, with the heat and the crowds, dining at nice restaurants helps to keep us...

Just back from BC - disappointing

We left the friendly confines of the Poly one year to stay at the BC, and I would have to say we regretted it also. The hotel just didn't give us the feel of a grand hotel at all. Pool and slide were great, location was great. The bus line waits did seem to be way to long as compared to the...

    How is Whispering Canyon Cafe?

The food is very average. The whole thing here is entertainment for the little ones (as if they don't get enough entertainment everywhere else at WDW). If you've got small children, and you want additional entertainment for them, and a relaxing good meal means very little, by all means, go...

I finally got breakfast at the Castle!!

Here was our breakfast at the castle - 2 adults, 1 11 yr old charged as an adult. I-Hop quality scrambled eggs, pastries, sausage, bacon, mixed fruit, frozen OJ, milk, 2 cokes, a few characters walking around - $84. It was by far the worst table service breakfast we've ever had at WDW...

    Fulton's Crab House

There is a phrase we use that I think applies to Fulton's. It misses the mark. Food was very OK. Neither Fulton's, nor the Luau are character meals. The food at the Luau is just very OK, also. I would consider a pass on both of these.

Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach ?

I would have to disagree. Have been to both several times. It's just as hot in September as in August, and there's more shade at TL. Wave Pool, water coasters, as well as several other slides, are really cool. BB has the big drop, which is its main attraction, but in my opinion, it hurts as...

    Why I Hate the DDP

DDP has never worked for us. We primarily only eat at table service restaurants, and we always like to eat at the Flying Fish and Cal Grill at least once each trip, and those take too many credits. I do believe that are more apt to work you in, if you don't have a res., or change a res. at the...

    Why I Hate the DDP

Disney use to offer a Fall Fantacy Package, which was an off season discounted package, that included free breakfast at any on property restaurant during your stay. It was great becuase we always booked the latest breakfast possible, considered it Brunch, and only paid for one meal, dinner each...

    Eating for $30/day and WDW

You can do that, but it takes a lot of the enjoyment out of the trip. We were there during Easter, and the 3 of us, wife, 12 yr old daughter (who eats like a bird) and I were there 4 days (really 3 1/2), 3 nights. Our meal cost, including snacks, was over $1000, and that's what we budget for...
