Slinky Dog Dash - rate this compared to SDMT and Barnstormer

Barnstormer is by far the least intense. It's pretty much equivalent to those kiddie coasters you'll find at most "local" amusement parks back home. 7DMT is probably one of the smoothest rides I've ever been on, and the "drops" aren't intense at all. There are some sharp turns, but nothing too...

Which attraction for first ever ride?

Wow that's a tough one. I'd either turn left at the hub and do Pirates or turn Right and do the Peoplemover followed immediately by Space Mountain.

Terrible service at Narcoosee’s, fantastic service at Flying Fish

I've had very similar experiences. Narcoossee's was honestly one of the most disappointing dining experiences on property. I had been looking forward to going there for years, and when I finally did the food was mediocre and the service was less than magical. On the other hand, I can't say...

What ADR would you add, drop, or run far far away from??

I would drop Boathouse like a hot potato. In my opinion, considering that you mentioned that this will be your only trip for awhile, you should be going for either a) really good food or b) a unique "Disney" experience in each of your ADRs. I think all of your other choices meet at least one of...

Disney Transportation has gone down hill

I totally agree with the OP with regard to the buses. They are consistently the least magical part of our trips, and we have found ourselves relying on Minnie Vans more and more. As for the other modes of transportation, I actually think they do a pretty solid job. I don't see any issues with...

Blue Zoo or Flying Fish for

I'd go with Flying Fish. The food and service are excellent, and I really like the atmosphere. Plus, there's tons to do at Boardwalk before/after dinner.

Favorite MK & HS Counter Service Restaurant Meal for Lunch

Columbia Harbor House for sure. Really good food and usually plenty of available seating.

    "Official" 2019 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - A Frightfully Festive Celebration

Does anyone know if you can meet Oogie Boogie at Not So Scary? I didn't see him on the list of meet-and-greets, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that occasionally he does "surprise" appearances for pictures. Anyone ever have any luck meeting him?

I just want a good steak. A lot of places serve steak as an afterthought.

If you want a single TS credit meal, I'd agree with the previous posts recommending Turf Club. We really enjoyed our dinner there earlier this year. The food was good, the service was exceptional, and we liked sitting outside on the patio.

    Favorite Lounges/Cocktails on Property????

Wow, there are so many good choices, but here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order: 1. Nomad Lounge (AK). It's a great atmosphere, excellent service, and really solid cocktails. I highly recommend the Night Monkey. It's rum-based, a little fruity but not overly sweet, with a hint...

Plane travel tip/be aware of your belongings

The amount of theft that goes on at security checkpoints, in the airport in general, and on airplanes is unbelievable. There have been numerous well-publicized instances of TSA agents themselves stealing from passengers at MCO. I've also heard of many cases of other passengers and even airport...

    Did I make a mistake????

I think you made the right call. I don't think either of them are worth the 2 TS credits, but I think your logic is 100% right...the best part of Le Cellier (the cheese soup) you can get at a Kiosk, so might as well try something different for your sit-down meal.

So is Delta trying to mimic Southwest?

I don't think they are trying to mimic SWA per say, but just getting on the bandwagon with UA and AA and their ridiculous boarding group signs. Honestly I still don't understand why boarding groups ever became a thing. There was no such thing as "gate congestion" when they used to board from...

Help me pick a drink at Nomad Lounge

Very good advice. I think Nomad and Tiffins have some of the best servers in all of Disney.

(Breakfast) Garden Grill or Kona Cafe?

I'm not a huge eater either, but I'd still go with Garden Grill. You're definitely missing out on the best part if you're skipping the sticky bun, but I found the rest of the food to be surprisingly good. I'm really picky about scrambled eggs (too many years of having to eat awful free hotel...

Spam me with your favorite CS in each park!!

MK: Columbia Harbor House, although Sleepy Hollow would be a very close second. Unless we are talking breakfast, and then coffee and a Cheshire Cat Tail from Cheshire Cafe is the only correct answer. EPCOT: Wow, hard to pick because there are so many great choices. I love Lotus Blossum...

    Tony's Town Square Restaurant

I always really enjoy Tony's, and I think your menu selections are solid. If you do end up ordering the spaghetti, I'd recommend the meatballs over the italian sausage. Not that the sausage isn't good, but I think their meatballs are one of their better items. If you end up being really hungry...

Help me pick a drink at Nomad Lounge

The Night Monkey is perhaps my favorite cocktail anywhere on property. It's rum based, and not insanely sweet, but it does have a hint of coffee flavor (not overpowering).

    Skyliner opening?

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for some kind of soft opening while we're there Aug 16-19.
