    How is the Camelot Inn?

thank you all for responses! I am looking here for a last minute trip at the end of June, thank you!

    Who's going in June?

Booking a trip now for June 27-30th. I have been to LA a few times but never Disneyland and my almost 9th grader has never been to California. Not sure where we are staying, but not on site as I cannot afford those prices. Might book through Costco, trying to not have rent a car but with Uber...

    Dina's and Peter's MAGIC(al) second - January 2022 5 night MDAS

"Sadly, Peter and I had 2 cruises scheduled on her, though technically it was the same cruise rescheduled. We were supposed to do the Southern Caribbean route out of San Juan...twice. Twice canceled. We still hope to do that route some day, but it looks like it won't be on Freedom of the Seas...

    Disney Magic January 27th, 2022

Hello- Didn't see a thread yet so I decided to start one. Just booked this as a last minute Christmas gift for my 12 year old daughter and myself after seeing a super great price and airfare. This will be our 3rd Disney cruise but our first in 5 years. Last one was on the Magic as well. This...

    Sobering videos of fantasy cruise

ok, well now I am really thinking of booking! We went to an all inclusive in Jamaica in January and the resort was at 20% occupancy, our whole family LOVED it, ages 12-69. We had our pick of everything and a beautiful beach almost all to ourselves each day. We've hesitated against rebooking with...

My comparison-ish of Royal's and Disney's Kids Clubs!

Wonderful comparison. Our personal experience (after 2 Disney and one RCCL) has been that Disney looks cooler but it is all bells and whistles where kids just run around and/or are on screens most of the time. There were just so many kids in there, it seemed extremely chaotic every time we were...

AoA Little Mermaid or Caribbean Beach?

CBR has been our least fav of any on site property we have ever stayed at. We were particularly disappointed in the dining options and the transportation. we loved AOA though but would Port Orleans work if you need a bigger room? We really enjoyed it when we stayed there. Good luck!

    HAL or NCL

We went on an Alaskan cruise in 2011, wanted Disney but they weren't going to Glacier Bay. Travel agent convinced my mother in law that HAL was the premier line ( our other options were NCL and RCCL at the time) and was also told that it would be very family appropriate...it really wasn't and...

Disney Cruise Line v. Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas comparison

Thank you so much for your post and comparisons. We took our 1st RCCL cruise, for a variety of factors, but the too biggest being itinerary (southern Caribbean over spring break and cost) in March on Adventure of the Seas. There were a few things we missed from DCL ( we def agree about pool side...

advice- DCL to alaska or other cruise line

We went to Alaska in 2011, originally we planned on Disney but Glacier Bay plus cost considerations made us choose HAL. We were on the Oosterdam, our son was 11 and our daughter turned 2 while on board. We were also with my in laws. Alaska is amazing and we had no service issues or complaints...

Just made the switch to RCCL...

We just booked Adventure of the Seas 7 day Southern itinerary for spring break 2017. My daughter, sister in law and I just got off the 4 night Disney Magic, which we would rate as A++++, over the moon awesome. We rebooked while on board for a 5 night, well turned out I had our 2017 spring break...

How much money do I need per person onboard?

We just did a 4 night cruise 3/13- for my daughter (1st grade) and I, my charges were $329. We had prepaid our gratuities. The $329 included $100 for bippity bippity boutique, Palo brunch for one, purchased one present for someone not with us in the gift shop and drinks ( I averaged 2-3...

Another Hyatt fan here, just did this on March 12th before our Magic cruise 3/13- so easy, comfy and nice. We decided we would def stay under similar circumstances again, it was great!

Side by side same port different ships

    Cruising in January

We cruised the Wonder for 3 nights in Jan 2006- it was sunny but chilly, our son rode the slides 2-3 times and we never were at the pool again. Also, we didn't get to dock at Castaway Cay due to weather, it was sunny but very windy- so we waved at it from afar

    Alaskan Cruise Questions

We went on an Alaskan cruise in 2012 on HAL mostly because the Disney cruise didn't go to Glacier Bay and in laws didn't want to have to go out of Vancouver. My daughter turned 2 while on board and my son was 12- we had an awesome time and would do it again in a heartbeat ( but prob not on HAL)

Disney Dream 4 night or Magic 7 night?

We just got off of a 4 night on the Magic and it was awesome. Wonderful service, never felt crowded, chose it over the Dream basically due to budget but now we would choose it again because it was so great, 7 nights would be fantastic!
