    Club 33 questions

I'm going to Club 33 on Sunday with a group of co-workers. The one who set this all up has lost her email archive that contains some pertinent information, and I'm hoping someone here can help us. Where do we pick up the tickets? She remembers it being outside the main gates (duh . . .) but...

to bring vs rent a stroller & baby station changing stations ?'s

No doubt at all - definitely bring your own. Not sure who said Disneyland's strollers are hard plastic, because they most certainly are NOT - they are green canvas. They offer NO support for an infant. They are fabulous strollers, but NOT for children who cannot sit up without support and...

    Light Magic Parade

I remember that they were billing it as "Light Magic - the Street-tacular" and it quickly became "Light Tragic - the Suck-tacular". The AP premiere was just awful . . . they had complaint lines into City Hall that lasted until 5:30AM (no joke or exaggeration there - my sister's roommate worked...

Has anyone been to Club 33 lately???

I just got invited to go!! The reservation is for 1:45pm on Sunday 10.29. :jumping1::jumping1::jumping1::jumping1: I have a some questions: 1) It wasn't made clear - there was something said of ordering the entree from a menu, but sides, salads and desserts were buffet style - does this...

    Autopia height requirements

My 4yo ds is an avid 'driver' - so I just put my hands behind my head and control the gas pedal while he 'steers' . . . it can get a little jarring, but his sheer joy is totally worth it. It's imagineered so that you can make it through the entire ride without even touching the steering wheel...

    Any Last Minute Tips?

Can't overemphasize the need for SUNSCREEN!!! Apply liberally each morning before getting dressed (esp. back of the neck & ears), and reapply during the day (especially after getting wet or sweating a lot). Nothing ruins a vacation faster than sunburns. The weather is warm, so don't forget...

Places for kids to get wet at DL or CA

And don't forget the gallon-size zip-lock to put the wet clothes in afterwards!! We bring water shoes since DS doesn't like sandals - that way his sneakers stay nice and dry (with mom on the bench in the shade sipping a slushie :cool1: ). The water shoes go right into the bag with his soaking...

Mint Julep Bar - NO Square?

Actually, it's connected to the French Market restaurant, not Cafe Orleans (they're in two separate buildings), but you can't get there except from around back by the train station at New Orleans Square. It's just a window/counter in the wall of the French Market, so it's very easy to miss...

    French Market Restaurant

Yes I do mean the French Market - the buffeteria-style restaurant next to the New Orleans Square train station, next to the Haunted Mansion. Thanks for clarifying! I should have been more specific. For that matter, regarding "menu", I should have said "food" - meaning quality, taste, etc...

    French Market Restaurant

Anyone have any opinions on this place they're willing to share? I'm curious as to what others think about it. I want all opinions, please - re: menu, atmosphere, CMs, everything. Thanks in advance!!

    Dumb annual pass question

I've had an AP for 16 years, and it's always expired on the activation date of the following year (activated on March 13, 2006 expires on March 13, 2007), meaning that you get an extra day during leap years. That being said, I never bought one on Feb 29, so I don't know when it would expire...

Disneyland & DCA Halloween Party in one day?

Being "WDW veterans" I would think that it wouldn't be a problem. You'll be grateful that Disneyland is smaller than the parking lot of the MK at WDW! Not as much walking to get from place to place. Since you're staying close by, you can always play it by ear and simply leave when you see...

    Disneyland and Toddler: Advice????

My son's first trip to DL was when he was about a week old and we've been going ever since. There's already enough great advice here for rides, etc. so I'll just really hype up the Baby Care Centers (Disneyland's is at the end of Main Street next to Plaza Gardens restaurant near First Aid -...

    Large size information

You might want to ask at all the places about scooters to rent and just have it as a backup plan. There's no shame in enjoying a day with your family, and it's no fun to have to sit on a bench for hours because you can't keep up (personal experience speaking here). If it looks like they may...

Mickey's Halloween Time - October at Disneyland!

This is MOST excellent news!! We got married on Halloween (DH's favorite holiday) and used to LOVE it when they did the Halloween events in Disneyland. The ones at DCA are fun, too, but this sounds fantastic!!!! So, will we see any of you there on the 30th? LOL! Stagemom - if the cookie...

Went on POTC 3 times yesturday!

We got in line near River Belle Terrace, and after 5 minutes or so went under the bridge, passing a sign saying the wait from that point was 45 minutes. 25 minutes later we were getting OFF the ride. We never stopped moving - much to my 4yo DS dismay - he wanted to sit for awhile and he never...

This is my obviously twitterpated then-3yo DS at Mickey's Halloween Treat at DCA last year with his two all-time favorite characters - Thomas and Donald. Daisy is just the added bonus!

How could it be that DL is smaller than MK but has more attractions?

As for 'June Gloom' . . . statistically speaking, June is the month with the LEAST amount of sunshine here in So Cal. It's foggy and overcast in the morning, burning off around 2, and then it gets cloudy again around 3 . . . ;) I grew up here, and it's perfect weather for jeans & a t-shirt...
