POR or CBR with a toddler?

Okay experts, I need your help! We are officially heading to WDW for our next trip, our first with our 2 year old DS! :woohoo: I need your opinions on which resort would be better for staying with a toddler: POR or CBR? It's been several years since I stayed at either and I really wasn't...

    Boma menu differences?

I thought I'd come across this information before but with the search function currently disabled, I'm having trouble finding it. Does anyone know if Boma has different dinner menus on different days? DW and I went on our honeymoon and loved it. When we visited a couple years later, the...

    Too funny

Haha. Got to love kids thinking with their stomachs! :) I've eaten at Olivia's on many occasions (we almost always stay at OKW), but I don't ever remember it for its desserts!

Has anyone ever had a "critter" other than bug visit your resort room?

We always stay on ground floor rooms because of my grandfather's bad knee and "critters" have never really been a problem for us. Only once have we had any event. One year, we had one of those small lizards make its way in the room and onto my back as I was laying on the bed watching TV. He was...

If you could only ride *one* ride ...

Splash Mountain. Don't know why, always been my favorite. I'd be sad to miss out on Tower of Terror, Rock'n Rollercoaster, and Expedition Everest, as those are all favorites too, but if only picking one, it'd have to be Splash.

    Downtown DIsney Store ????

I found a blog from someone who covered the grand opening of Design-A-Tee last year, and they listed the prices as ranging between $18 and $31. That was a year ago, so unsure if the prices have changed and I have not visited this store myself. And, MomofSix, you can always use the interactive...

50s prime time ... as waste of a TS for dinner?

I enjoy going to 50's Prime Time and wouldn't consider it a waste at all. The atmosphere is fun and the food is pretty good home-cooked style. I think you'd be pleased if you chose to go there. I don't know if I can classify it as better than the Sci-Fi, as I see them as different dining...

Can you tell me your favorite restaurant at Hollywood Studios?

I have two. And I can't decide between them. For burgers and such, I'd recommend the Sci-Fi Drive-In. I just LOVE the atmosphere of this place and the food is good too. The other is the Prime Time 50's Cafe. We've had a blast everytime we've eaten here. Just make sure to keep your elbows...

How much travel time should I allow?

You are correct, Mick. But it's easy enough for Meredith to get where she needs to go. Hopping on a MK bus and taking the monorail from there is an easy way to do it. I would definately allow no less than an hour to get there on time. The sooner you can get everyone ready and out the door, the...

Chef Mickey's or not? 2 adults

Wow...I can't believe so many people dislike CM...it's one of my family's favorite places to eat. I'd been with my immediate family several times and I made sure to take my DW when we went on our honeymoon. It was a fun evening. We had our pictures taken with the characters and we enjoyed...

things you've NEVER done while at Disney?

PI is definately something I've never done. I've only been of drinking age for 4 years, but even then, no one in my family would have dreamt of going. It looks like they close right after my honeymoon visit, so we will have to go just to go. I could also give you quite the list of attractions...

    Would like suggestions

I would definitely recommend the Biergarten. It is a must visit for us every time we go. I've never eated at Teppan Edo, so I can't comment there. But I'd say, if you have the ADR available, switching 50's to lunch and having dinner at the Biergarten would be a decision you would not regret. ;)
