Well, that's weird. When Ive had my ta price out both separately, the land is always cheaper doing it split from the cruise. i recommend small world vacations, like dreams, they are disney speciallists, and both work hard to get you a discount. thats one thing you won't get much of through land...

I guess that gives us the incentive to book as soon as they come out, because the California Cruises SKYROCKETED the first day due to popular demand!

I agree, it's as if smokers are lepers or something. As a former smoker, I was always considerate of the people around me, and would go to a designated smoking area, didnt leave butts on the ground etc. I have yet to see those that think a cruise is one big drinkfest be chastised or criticized...

Unfortunately, there are very few companies that specialize in Disney travel like DU or Small World. I dont see what difference being local makes if you receive the same service from an internet agency? Ive always been able to call my agent, she definitely knows more about discounts than I do...

No, disney definitely does NOT notify you of discounts, but the two agencies Ive seen on here most definitely DO :cool1: :cool1: that's why even as a resident now i still use my ta because she is the one who worries about the discounts now, and not me :teeth: i get to sleep in on those days lol

We had ours applied after final and didnt move rooms, didnt pay penalties, and didnt change reservation numbers, and the money was refunded without a problem, so i dont believe they consider it a cancellation or a rebooking...but, if you do rebook onboard and then modify at a later date, you do...

If the people aren't applying, then they can't hire them. Our market down here is very strong..and like many positions, there aren't enough people to fill them. Plus, having been in retail many years prior, 7 day mandatory work weeks around Christmas was almost a guarantee

No they don't unfortunately, but as much as we've sailed, we really do not spend a whole lot of time in the rooms. Personally, Id go for the lower price, and if the one in between yall comes open, have your TA move them down.

I totally agree..now with the travel industry on a rebound, to book a room in anticipation of a discount just isn't wise. Now, IF you book the room, knowing that you might pay what you originally booked at, then get a discount, great. But possibly not going if you don't get a discount only...
