    There are two campgrounds at Point South---same entrance road left get you The Oaks at Point South---right gets the KOA----both are nice we prefer the Oaks as it is a little further from the Hgy--both are just fine Paul in TX

    Arriving Early At FW

    we have arrived as early as 2 am on the day we are supposed to check in at 1pm-- we just pull up to security and tell them we made good time--they direct us to the overflow parking lot and we sleep-- we have done this a few times--they just don't want folks "boondocking" in their parking lot...

    I found the buffet at Trails End this past Xmas to be reasonable and wonderful---they also serve it from lunch on as opposed to some holiday meals which seat starting at around 4pm Paul

    I'd do Trails End---they used to be real inconsistent--but on our last trip they were excellent---food really fresh---more veggies and less greasy foods---dinner was so good we ate there 3 times in one trip-----that has never happened to us anywhere in over 50 trips to WDW give it a try Paul

    fw concerns

    We have camped at FW about 25 times---my daughters longest wait for a shower was 20 minutes--once---my wife's longest was 10 min. we have had far more noisy neighbors at hotels than the campground---not many early risers as the parks tend to get going at 9-----never any partiers----most folks...

    The movies and sing a long are located near the Meadow Trading Post---the carriage rides are near Pioneer Hall----its about a .3 mile walk between the two--all sidewalk---but this is also a main internal bus route if you want to ride the carriage rides get more popular closer to Xmas as folks...

    There are now three internal bus routes-----the walk is just over a mile--we walk it all the time-----also the side walk is next to the bus route --so you can hop a bus if you get tired or it looks like rain Paul

    The only bike pathis the exercise path to the Wilderness Lodge---however at Xmas its fun to ride around the campground and see all the rigs decorated for the season---however I don't think you can keep the rental bikes overnight Paul

    Yes ---the walk is about 1.25 miles---all paved sidewalk --mostly shaded--but if you get tired or the weather turn bad its a main bus route so you'll be passing bus stops the entire route-----you can watch for the brown rabbits so plentiful in the campground you'll also pass the meadow...

    Western Way leads from 429 to just past Coronado Springs Resort----the 192 exit is further south on 429-----its a neat road past the tree farm and the backstage of AK--we took it out this past June Paul

    I also think 429 would be a little faster-----from the tpk 429 is signed to Tampa----the Western Way exit is clearly marked---or if you want a grocery stop go a little to 192 and there is a Publix right there-- Paul
