I have become a pin addict.

I also like the Easter Egg idea. Also giving them as gifts too. Wish I thought of that and tucked a few away for the Christmas stockings.

    Is Spaceship Earth a must?

SSE is a must see for me. I won't wait more than 10 minutes for it though but just go later in the evening and it's usually a walk-on. Seeing the Earth from the Moon is just so awesome to me. Sometimes the simple rides are the best.

I have become a pin addict.

I admit it. I have become a pin addict. :) I used to look down on those silly freaks wasting their money on those dumb over priced pins. And what grown man (who calls himself a man) would don one of those gaudy lanyards and wear it around his neck? Then my kids wanted to do it. My daughter...

Anyone else seen the mummies on TOT?

Hi SnowandMittens. I've seen that pic of the goofy acting Princesses floating around the internet. My wife and I are in a disagreement whether it's Disney cast-members or not. Any idea?

favorite part of the haunted mansion?

For me it's the Graveyard but I think it's only because years ago they were having technical difficulties so we stopped there for around 10 minutes. It was totally awesome! Everytime after i'm always thinking..."please stop, please breakdown" :thumbsup2

    I Don't Understand...

All 4 Parks have their own "feel". Animal Kingdom is a zoo with rides to a lot of people. So I think that's a tough one to feel any magic about. It's a little preachy too since it's about the environment. If I'm on vacation I don't want it to be a downer I want fun. And I really like straws...

    Animal Kingdom a major Flop!

I'm not a fan of Animal Kingdom either. Least favorite Park actually. I'm not a big fan of zoos in general though. It depresses me no matter how "natural" it is for the animals. Kali is a joke, everyone gets wet not because of the bumping and jarring and splashing of the ride (which I would...

    'Real' conversations with CM's

While sitting on a bench at MGM, alone and waiting for my family to meet me several princesses came out for a meet and greet and sign autograph books. They were all close enough to be within speaking distances of each other. Kids came running to them all except for Mulan for some reason. She...

Air Conditioning - CSR and POP

I hope you don't imagine that you'll have any kind of real control with the room temp though. (my Disney pet peeve)

Mistakes you made while at the Parks

Forgot sunscreen on the top of my feet at a waterpark. Lost 2 days because me feet were so swollen I couldn't walk. Did the meal plan.....we did save money on the food we ate but I think we ate more than we would have if we didn't have the meal plan. Catch 22 for my family. Rather than skipping...

Was there a ride you were disapointed in?

I agree. To me it was like a slow bumpy ride in Jeep with the top off. But my biggest stinker ride is Space. Went once and never went again. Bored me to tears and gave me a headache.

    Help please, Logan Airport tips?

Hello. My family, (wife, 2 young kids and myself) are leaving for Disney on Delta out of Logan Airport next week. My question is, what's the best way to get us all from the parking lot to the terminal with the minimal amount of effort/hassle? My wife likes to pack so we'll have at least 4...

Daughter turning 3 right before we go

Yeah, heaven forbid anyone think to discuss further than that about any issues raised in any post made in a discussion group. :confused3

Question about diabetics in the parks

:thumbsup2 WOW! As a type 1 diabetic myself I just have to say this is very well written. Lots of good links too. And I always wondered if coaster type rides ever effected my blood sugar levels and now I know it doesn't! The only thing I can add is my love of using a fanny pack in Disney...

Daughter turning 3 right before we go

If Disney didn't charge $300 for a 12 ounce soda ;) I'd say buy your kid a ticket. But since they do I wouldn't bother and not think twice about it. Or if they refunded unused days.................. [flame shields up]

    problems at BCV

The handicap rooms are a blessing for the handicapped but a royal pain for those that are not. This happened to us at our last stay at BCV. We had two little kids who took baths and the handicapped shower stall was not an option. We too got the "all sold out" attitude. For the money we paid to...

Anybody else feel like you enter a time warp when you go to Disney?

We usually go for ten days at a time. The first 5 are slow and funfilled but the last 5 feel like 2!

    Is Mission Space too "barfy"?

It's a weird ride. I did it once when it first opened and I think I'm done. Not because it made me sick. It was interesting but just didn't excite me at all. There's a feeling of pressure pushing you back and the simulator makes it feel like you're moving. You know that ride at amusement parks...
