    Plantar Fascitis Shoe Suggestions?

I've had pain from plantar faciitis for a couple of years now! Sleeping with night splints and wearing orthotics during the day have helped but I still had pain in the heal area. I recently tried a heal orthotic from www.heelthatpain.com and I cant believe how great my feet feel! They have...

How to cook a ham in an electric roaster?

I use my roaster to heat up our ham at Christmas. I usually cut the ham first (just to make it easier to serve 25 people for dinner!) and then heat it on a lower temperature...I would guess around 300 or so. It usually takes about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending on how tightly packed it is...

Anyone been to BW latley? Question about Screen Door.

I don't know if this had anything to do with it or not but late last year Kellogg announced there would be a shortage of Eggo waffles due to problems at two plants. They said this would last into mid 2010 so maybe there is hope for waffles at the Screen Door soon! Suzy

    Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole

Thanks Piratesmate, I did a search on Cooks.com and found a bunch, unfortunately none of them sounded quite right. I was hoping somebody would have saved a copy of the recipe that was posted here on the DIS last year. I don't remember using any crunchy item on top, seems like it was just cheese...

    Cheesy Hash Brown Casserole

Hi All! I got a recipe off the DIS that I made last Christmas for Cheesy Hash Browns. I can't seem to find it again so does anybody have a good recipe? I seem to remember it used frozen hash browns southern style, cream of mushroom soup and of course cheese! Let me know if you have a good...

    Disney Food Pictures...Part II

Our experience at the Prime Time has been they mostly pick on the adults and teens. The servers who are really good at their "role" are also pretty good about reading people, and my little ones always loved seeing their dad get green beans with whipped cream for dessert! Suzy

Trampolines - Talk me into (or out of) one!

We don't have one and have never even thought of getting one, but my advice would be to check with your home owners insurance company to see if it would effect your rates. Suzy

Does anyone own a Yamaha Majesty scooter?

Well, DH has a Suzuki Burgman 400 scooter that he really likes. I like it to since it has so much storage room. It's really easy to ride and gets great gas mileage. Hopefully someone will chime in with info on the Yamaha you're interested in. Suzy

    SW prices DOUBLED

While it's true they had a first quarter net loss of 6.4 billion most of that was depreciation being charged off. They actual loss was 274 million, still a lot of money but I don't think we'd have any airlines left if they were losing billions each quarter!

Or he could drop you off at the Grand Floridian and it's a short Monorail ride from there. Suzy

Walking to DHS - from BW ?

Yes, there is a path from BW to DHS. It can be found either from the Boardwalk area - just follow around past Jelly Rolls, or from the Villa side just go out by either pool and head toward the canal. The path is lighted and a quite nice walk, it usually takes us between 10 and 15mins to walk...

Where CAN You Wear A Hat?

You might not want to wear your hat at the 50's Prime Time cafe, your "server" might have a lot of fun with you if you do! Suzy

If I drive to the parks from my resort

When our kids were little MK was the only park we would take WDW transportation to. Even when you park in the MK parking lot you still have to ride the monorail or the ferry boats, it just seemed easier to us to only have to ride 1 bus instead of the car and something else. Good luck and hope...

    Ear Planes...do they work?

We used to use those for our DS and they worked great! Made flying much more pleasant. He would put them in right before take-off, once we were at cruising altitude he'd take them out. Just had to remember about 30min before arrival to put them back in. Good luck, Suzy

Charter Schools - The Good, the bad, the ugly?

We are also in a charter school that started up last year. First year charter schools can be a little rough. My DD was in 4th grade last year and didn't seem to be too bothered by the turmoil but some families left during the year because they didn't expect the challenges that come with starting...

    Favorite CS at HS?

We've always eaten at Backlot Express and it is fine but just your typical burgers and stuff. This summer I think we'll try Starring Rolls, they have different types of sandwiches, and the pastries always look good too! Suz

My Sister in Law just return from Hawaii....

Although it's fun to dream unfortunately I don't think they'll be sailing around the HI islands or one-way between LA and HI either. The law is known as the Passenger Vessel Services Act (PVSA), it states for a ship to sail between US ports it must be registered and built in the US. Since we no...

    Passport questions

Also, don't forget if you're using your married name you'll need to bring/send in your marriage license too. We just got our kids passports. We didn't use express service and still got the passports back in 10 days! We were pretty stunned. Suzy
