I always pay the annual subscription and find their crowd calendar invaluable.

    Advice for glasses wearers.

I've always went "blind" at water parks and usually wear contacts on other rides but have occasionally wore glasses without any problems.

Question About Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Waits

If you go on as a single rider you get to ride much quicker.

    October travel questions

Yeah, we've always had a school half term break in October in the UK which is why we've went then. Was always quieter than it was in 2016 though despite the UK holidays.

    October travel questions

We've been October 1995, 2007/09/11/13 and 16 It was pretty quiet 1995 and 07/09/11 but a bit busier in 2013 2016 was unbelievably busy and I notice touring plans had some days predicted as being a 6 but actually being a 10 The food and wine festival coupled with the Halloween parties and...

Best way for boy to carry iPhone around?

I always wear cargo shorts and if my teenage daughter wanted me to hold her I-phone while on a ride I put it in the button down side pocket of my cargo shorts. My own much cheaper and not as cool android Samsung phone was fine in the not buttoned down pocket of my shorts. On a side issue re...

    Here now, broken MK

Pirates of the Caribbean was another ride we didn't get on at MK in October. Was broken every time we tried and one day we along with many others exited a fire exit halfway down the line to leave as we'd waited a long time and it was broken down.

    Here now, broken MK

It was closed for the entire 2 weeks of our visit in October with just a little sign saying "closed today". Nothing about being closed for good or for a refurb.

Do you follow crowd calendar advice for recommended park days?

We always use Touring Plans crowd calendar and recommendations and have found them to be pretty accurate. They do say that less than 5% of people use them though so the chances of a park being full because everyones looked at a crowd calendar and followed it are quite slim. They factor in...

    Mission Space ?

I've never done the mild one but in the intense one your cheeks and mouth sort of twitch and pull. A teenage boy was particularly ill on the one we were on. Was sat down outside afterwards being comforted as he was dizzy and feeling sick.

    Watching NFL game in DIsney

Millers Ale House at the junction of the 192/429 beltway, 1 junction from western way in Disney has literally dozens of large screen TV's with the nfl, nba, nhl, etc etc on all of the time.

Do pairs cheat by using the single-rider lines?

single rider worked out great for us as it meant we rode things multiple times with minimal waits. You're often next to each other (or near enough) in any case.

What's the latest you can enter MK on a party night (without party ticket)?

We went to Animal Kingdom, left about 1pm and went shopping at the florida mall and entered MK at 6PM on our way home on a MNSSHP night, rode Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear, had a look around the shops on main street and left at 7.05 as the bulk of the partygoers were arriving.

    Just back - October 23-28

We were there from 13th to 27th and I agree that some days were much busier than we expected. My 9 year old absolutely loved Space Mountain and Expedition Everest and rode EE 7 times in one day over and over by using the single rider line which never had more than a 5 minute wait time posted...

    Beer at the Parks

I find that beer (or any alcohol really) leaves a dry taste in your mouth leading you to want more, it is a diuretic after all. Even when at a resort where I'm sitting at a pool and sunbathing all day I tend not to drink alcohol until I'm having my evening meal as I find drinking in the hot sun...

    Feb weather

I've been twice in February. First time was high 70's and low 80's everyday bar one with low humidity and reasonably warm evenings. Second time we had some really cold days in the low 50's with a lot of rain, a couple of high 70's days and a couple of low 80's days and some really chilly nights...

    Rope Drop TSM! ?

Did it twice in the past weeks and walked straight on both times. Actually waited longer when we used a fast pass.

    Beer at the Parks

I just think there's a time and place for it really, for example at a bar or a restaurant rather than wandering around drinking which is something you don't usually see in the UK due local byelaws prohibiting street drinking.

    Beer at the Parks

We've just arrived back in the UK after our 1st trip to WDW for 5 years (went to Universal and SeaWorld on our last trip 3 years ago and missed them out this time) and I too was shocked at the amount of people wandering around all of the theme parks drinking beer and in particular the number of...
