    JFK to Manhatten??

Cabs hold a maximum of four adults. It's a flat rate $45 to the city from JFK plus tolls and tip. Wait I think that went up last year. SUPERSHUTTLE (a van service) is $19 for the first member of a group, $11 for each other member. You can get the whole van for about $120, or you'll share it...

Effect Of Expedition:Everest On Animal Kingdom Attendance

Size matters! ANIMAL KINGDOM has plenty of space for expansion. The STUDIOS do not, unless they reroute their entrance roads and build out into their parking lot. Too bad for them. They demolished their "back lot" and are turning their sound stages into stationary exhibits. The "theme" thing...

Late Night at MK...How long do the monorails run to the TTC?

If the park is open that late, the monorails will be running, and they keep going for a while (2 hours?) after the official closing time. There is only one day in September when both the parade and the park closing are listed for 11 PM. I don't know how they manage that.

There's one on Hwy 535: go south and it's on the right before you get to 192. The site map you get when you check in will show you where 535 is.

    solo at the water parks

The locker key, if I remenber correctly, goes on a band around your wrist. It is worth doing, but always more fun with another person, especially on the lazy river raft floats. In the wave pool, however, you are on your own. The slides, too. What the heck. Go for it!

Is Pat Robertson "relevant" to mainstream Christians?

After all this, most Americans believe that Pat Robertson is gravely mistaken. So what should they do about it?

Remember New Yrs Eve in 1999?

Oh gosh. We all went into Central Park, a spot that lined up with Seventh Avenue and had a direct view of the Times Square ball. And all the fireworks. Great fun.

How to get to Hoop De Doo

Interesting question. If you have a car, you must park it in the Campground parking lot and take a shuttle bus to where the show is. 15 minutes to drive to the lot, 10-15 minute wait for a bus, (maximum), 5 minutes on the bus. Just count backwards and you will see how much time to allow. No...

For those of you living in NYC...

He lives on 79th Street, but is staying in Brooklyn for the strike. Great photo-ops crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. Last time there was a strike threat, he bought a bicycle, but he seems to have soured on cyclists in the past year or so.

For parents of the "naughty" child...(loooong update p 7)

A Quote: "For example: My husband and I took the kids (DD 15 & DS 13) to DL one summer and actually spent a day driving south into Tiajuana, when the kids saw the other children selling chewing gum and beaded bracelets in the streets, they couldn't believe it. They wanted to know where their...
