Need Mickey Birthday Party ideas before we leave.

Buy cheap paper sacks and decorate the bags with disney stickers. You can either do it as an activity at the party or before they arrive. You can also use the stickers to decorate the invitations. Also, if people ask - definately suggest Disney Dollar/GC(now?). Have fun! :rolleyes1

When and where did Lights, Camera, Action open? On tv last night, the show said it opened on 05-05-05 at WDW. But we saw it in Paris in April of 2005. Any ideas?

Port Orleans - Riverside or French Quarter???

Riverside! It's smaller and easier to get around. Your room will be close to everything - bus stop, pool, etc. We loved it! Enjoy!

My husband doesn't want to bring our stroller to WDW because he is afraid that someone will steal it. Has anyone ever heard of that happening (much)? Thanks!

What age were you when you FIRST went to Disney?

I was 9 when I went to DL and remember little. I remember the beach more than the park. When I was 16 we went to WDW and remember everything. Now I am hooked! WDW is my favorite vacation spot! Good luck

    Bringing Food/Drinks in parks

We always bring drinks and snacks. For example: Bottled water (then refill the rest of the day) and breakfast snacks. My only suggestion is if you bring ALOT, get a locker! If you carry a BIG back pack, its hard to find a safe place to leave it when you ride the rides. Plus it will be...

    Delta Skymiles question

We just tried to use our Delta miles last week and it was impossible! We have miles but they won't let you use them. For example: To get to Orlando from our home town would take two stops, but we want the non-stop. Oh sorry...your miles can't be used on that flight! CRAZY! We have called...

    standard AKL or Dolphin ?

We absolutely LOVE the AKL! Our goal was to stay at a different resort each time we visit, now we will only stay at AKL! The bus rider (if truly longer) is worth the atmosphere of the AKL! The Dolphin is just like any other "hotel." I suggest trying AKL at least once. Enjoy! :mickeybar

Budget has gone "out the window" - which to choose?

If this is your first trip, I suggest two rooms. You won't spend that much time in the room, but one room with 5 people for any length of time could lose its "fun" quickly. Since budget is a concern, two value rooms should be a good deal for 5 people. Enjoy your stay! :mickeybar

    Refrigerating Perishables prior to check-in?

When we pick up our groceries, we also purchase a sytrofoam (cheap) cooler. We don't get a frig either. Every morning or evening my husband fills it back up with ice. It's easy and cheap! Enjoy your trip! :mickeybar

    Staying a week w/o car

We have been to Disney World five times and never wished we had a car. Disney's transportation system in the best in the United States - trust it! Everything you will need - you can get by with their transportation. Save the money and enjoy your trip! :mickeybar
