I have to say that I really like this quiet time where there are no daily/weekly challenges or events going on. Just do what you want at a nice pace.

We have used it for the past 2-3 years and love it. There haven't been any lines in the online checkin area and we are usually headed to our room within 10 minutes of arriving in the lobby.

We kept our oldest in a booster seat until a couple of weeks ago. He is a little over 9 and was 54 inches/83 pounds at his last physical. However the doctor said it was safer for him to be out of the booster seat and using the regular seat belts.

We were there the first weekend of June and didn't have any problem with getting it in our room. We didn't try it out anywhere else in the resort though.

In the past when we have shared a room with other people, we (as the ones booking the room) would get all the keys at once. Then when they showed up, they would call us and just come to the room. We would pick up an extra vehicle pass for them and give them the keys and pass once they arrived.

SSR generally shares a bus with Old Key West as well. The past three or so years haven't had lines that were too bad. I generally wait towards the end of the race to see people finish and I don't think the wait was over 20 minutes.

We have a 1 Bedroom booked at OKW for the weekend. We usually still use the busses but with various problems over the past few years, I like the backup plan of being able to walk there if something should happen.
