SuperDuperBounce - is room 4404 a CL or Deluxe CL room?

I will definitely have to read your trip report - thanks so much for recommending it. I think what is most fustrating to me is I don't know the layout of the GF - so there is a Main Building and a Sugar Loaf Building - right?

DebbieB - are you familiar with the GF? If so, what is the Conch Key building like? So would you say my best bet would be just to ask for a CL room w/a castle view?

The room at Conch Key - was it a CL room? Also, did it have a great view of the castle?

My DH and I will be taking our 2 DD's (2 and 4 yrs. old at the time) to the MK this December and staying at the GF. We wanted some room suggestions - one that is beautiful and has a FABULOUS view of the castle, etc., etc.

I agree - I'm thinking the only time we may be around them is in the evening during the MVMCP and it's not like we are going to be out late EVERY evening with 2 and 4 year old.

Oh no! My DH and 2 DD's are scheduled to go Dec. 3-10 and have a room at the GF. This will be our first trip with our DD's (2 and 4 years old at the time.) Should we bump our trip to a different week?

My DH and I want to surprise my parents with a trip to WDW, but they have Yorkie who they will not board or leave with friends. Do any of the resorts allow small dogs?

My husband and I will be taking our 2 daughters to the MK next December for a week. We are booked at the GF in one of the concierge rooms. Any suggestions for which floor or specific room number to request? Obviously we want a balcony that faces the castle. Thanks!

My DH and I will be taking our 2 DD's to DW next December for 1 week. Our DD's will be 3 1/2 and 1 1/2 - we were thinking of staying at the Grand Floridian and wanted to know if this is an appropriate resort for small children. We had read somewhere that it seems to cater more towards couples.
