    Pampers new reward program

Just FYI - the collection period goes until December 31 of next year - 2006 - so for those who don't have the points on their current packages, don't sweat it. You'll have more diapers going through your home in the next year and a half to more than make up for it :)

    Another update on codes...

Just spoke with CRO, who flat out said they had a meeting this morning (because of all the calls they've been getting, and all the emails) and they were told: DO NOT EXPECT ANY RELEASE OF DATES FOR ANNUAL PASSHOLDER RATES THIS MONTH AT ALL. Now - do not expect is not set in stone, of course -...

AAA, AP, BR, - what would you do?

We're going the last week of October - we JUST found out DH's work switched over to AAA and we can use it for personal travel. I've never used it before for a Disney trip, but that's now an option - so I need input and advice on what you'd do. I am pretty sure we can't do BR now - because it...

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

ROFL! Um - breast milk is 100% absorbable. Sometimes moms have to alter their diet a bit, but what a hoot. Force feeding soy formula is more the case.

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

Keep in mind that this isn't the norm - how many "bottle proppers" are out there? You formula fed your baby as if you were breastfeeding her - I see what the point is that you're trying to make about social interaction during feedings, but the fact is - it was mama, holding her...

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

I think that's totally your decision. My daughter is high-functioning and often has "inappropriate" staring issues or comments. I would say do what you're comfortable with. If you typically discuss his autism with others, and feel comfortable with it, you could certainly apologize - not FOR...

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

I think the problem here is that doctors WERE misinforming people - and still are, sadly enough (more so in the OB/GYN practice than in the Pediatric practice since they actually read the AAP guidelines for feeding babies). So, *should* your son have had breastmilk? Absolutely. But that...

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

I'll take an increased IQ, immunities, security and decrease in allergies, asthma, and intolerances as a trade of - oh, wait - my husband can feed the baby expressed breastmilk, too. What else you got?

True - and what if it had been the new baby <insert animal here> breastfeeding on THEIR mom? No different.

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

WHY does it have to be a *thing*??? You just say "she's feeding her baby" and leave it at that. Kids crave simplicity - and information, and honesty. There's no "whole concept".

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

You have some homework to do - there IS proof to all of these statements. Very specific studies have been published that prove such things. For example, did you know that breastfeeding actually heals postpartum depression - again, perfect design, perfect science. I suffer from severe PPD...

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

No, they don't - it's a little thing called pheremones and oxytocin. Babies aren't stupid - that's why babies cry for the breast of their mom and the perfectly created food for them at birth.

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

Um - probably the same reason we're born with ovaries but they don't produce eggs until maturity - or the reason young men have testicles but do not ejaculate sperm until puberty.

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

Talk about dumb comments - obviously just because a women can't have children doesn't mean their breasts weren't perfectly designed for feeding children! Breasts have a very specific physiological purpose - they're filled with milk ducts and the nipples have openings to release said milk...

That's great - perpetuate the male-induced misconception that breasts are for their pleasure. Nevermind that they were CREATED to produce milk and feed children. Absurd.

Breastfeeding an older baby at WDW

I seriously doubt it, considering 70% of babies are breastfed now. MOST parents and children are educated enough to know that breasts are for feeding babies. My kids always asked what the bottle was for, when they'd get a baby that came with one.
