Question for anyone recently on the Wonder...

:thanks: I hope he's still there when we're on board in August! My boys really had a great time pin trading with him.

    Current Castaway Club Gift? Pins?

Hopefully someone will be able to help me with this one... Are they still giving pin trading sets as part of the Castaway Club gift? We had such a blast with them last year. At first we thought they were all the same (Mickey & Minnie on lounge chairs), and then realized there were slight...

    question about.......

Yep, you're right. Once it is paid in full, there is nothing left for the TA to do to earn any commission, and Disney already has your money. Sorry!

? transferring cat 3 booking to costco for benefits

Costco travel is just like any other TA, so yes, you would still have any concierge benefits available to you just as if you'd booked with your local agent down the street. We've transferred our last three DCL bookings to Costco, and had no problems at all. Good luck!

    Costco Cash rebate?

We booked onboard last summer and got a $100 stateroom credit as well as the onboard booking discount. Later transferred to Costco and kept the discount, stateroom credit AND got the Costco gift card. We were also told the same thing about not knowing the exact amount, but you could always ask...

Question for anyone recently on the Wonder...

Do any of you remember if there is a CM named Glen working at Mickey's Mates or Treasure Ketch? We are on the 8/3 sailing, and remember him and another CM named Alison working in the merchandising/retail shops from previous cruises, and were wondering if either of them are still onboard...

    Jet skis at Castaway Cay??

There was an "eco waverunner tour" that I once did at Castaway Cay. You could reserve either a single or double waverunner. You got to go around the island and the guides pointed out some of the local vegitation and landscape. It was really more just riding around on the waverunners than...

    quart size bags per TSA

It does not matter which brand, but the bag must be re-sealable (foldover sandwich type bags do not qualify). So either the old-fashioned "yellow and blue make green" style ziplock are ok, or the newer sliding style is just fine. Last weekend I flew from Houston to Atlanta, and acutally used a...

TA recommendations if I want to transfer reservation?

We've used Costco several times. Their prices were comparable to the agencies listed on this site, and we just booked a 4 nighter in August and are getting a $200 Costco card per stateroom (because we are Costco Executive Members). Also, the Costco insurance was much cheaper than DCL's...

Ha anyone done a back to back 4 night cruise?

I'm not quite sure you would want to do a 4 nighter back to back with a 3 nighter... they both go to exactly the same ports, you just get a day at sea with the 4 nighter. You would also lose almost a whole day doing the turnaround between the two. Nothing on the ship will be open while the...

    NO formal night on 4-day?

We have done the opposite - only 4 nighters, never the 7. Want to trade places? :) We only really dress up for Palo, and that is either dress pants or skirt and nice top for me, and buttondown shirt (most likely with tie) and dress pants for hubby. I did make him bring a jacket for the...

Any body cruising the wonder 4-15-07? Is room 6514 catg. 8 any good?

We were in 6514 on the Wonder in January '05. It is a great room for a cat 8. Since all the cat 8's are very far forward, it's not too bad. We had previously been in cat 6's, and this was our first time in a cat 8. The large porthole window was nice - the kids liked to sit in it. Made for...

Passport Question? not a U.S. Citizen

My hubby is also not a citizen, but a permanent resident alien. He needed his passport and Green Card on all 3 DCL cruises we have taken. As a matter of fact, DCL held on to either his Green Card or Passport for the duration of the cruise (it was returned to him before getting off the ship...

    Multi-stateroom Palo reservation?

We had the same situation - three staterooms, six adults on our Wonder cruise in December. We booked a reservation at Palo online before we left for 4 people (that was the max you could do online), called Debbie (of REAS fame) and explained the situation. When we got onboard, it had been noted...

    Need help!Hotels near MCO

We once stayed at the Sheraton Suites near the airport before our cruise. Got it on Hotwire for around $60. It was great - a two room "suite", but I prefer the Hyatt for convenience. My husband travels on business and usually stays at Hyatts, so we get it on points. It's a bargain that way!

Am I arriving to early? And a luggage question if too early

No, it is by no means too early! By the time you and your luggage are aboard the bus and you get to the port, you will be able to get onboard! We always fly in the night before, and head for the ship around 10:30-11am. You'll be fine!

Does the ship sell disney animation items?

I have seen animation cells for sale onboard, but have no idea as to price. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

    Can We Do Better $$$$?

If you are a member of Costco, you may want to call and see what their price is. We have booked two DCL cruises with them and have gotten a great deal each time. Your price does not seem bad, however.
