If you went straight to ETWB what was the wait

On our early January 2013 trip, we walked at a normal pace from 9:00am park opening (just slightly after rope drop--which is really good for us) and arrived at ETWB at 9:12am. The wait time was already 40 minutes. We debated about waiting, and did decide to stay in line because we figured it...

? - anyone notified by Chase re: discount

Usually it's hit or miss with me for being notified from Disney Visa. Today, however, I did receive an email at 2:21pm. Usually I learn about it from the DIS boards first. Yay DIS boards!

BAD BOYS BAD BOYS!! Undercover Security

I've really been enjoying these stories...thanks everyone for sharing. We just have one encounter. A few years ago, our family was just loading into a car on Spaceship Earth, and a couple cars in front of us was a group of 4 rowdy teenage boys that had just loaded. Just as their car passed...

Would my game reciepts from the old Contemporary arcade still be valid?

We were there in May, very soon after the new arcade reopened. DS had been saving his Contemporary arcade receipts since 2005 and he was worried too about cashing the old ones in. They honored every one. I think you'll be fine! :yay:

Ohana ? about alternative child menu

My DS, same thing about not eating their food...we went to Ohana and we just asked for a hot dog for him expecting to pay the $11.99. We jokingly told DS that it had better be the best tasting hot dog on the planet for $11.99. But we had no need to fear, they just charged us for a kids meal...

Is is worth it to stay in the Poly, CR or GF just for the monorail?

Definitely yes! To us: the time we save in travel = more time in the parks, so you are getting more out of your park tickets. Also, getting back to the resort at park closing is usually easier and quicker too-not having to get a sleepy child(ren) out of a stroller to get on a bus is another...

    Late, Late Arrival at WL!!!!!

We checked into the WL close to midnight last April and it was very quiet. We had the entire check-in line to ourselves and the CMs were very friendly as they had the time to focus on just us. We got a lovely, convenient room close to the elevators. I did call CRO a few days before we left...

I just got an AP rate for checkin 10/15

Called today for an AP rate the old fashioned way for Oct. 4-10 and AKL savannah and Fort Wilderness Cabins came up as available at Passholder rate. There are some rates out there. If you book online (Passholders Fall Special Rates) there are still a variety of resorts available at all levels.

    Sunshine Seasons Menu

This does seem to be most of the menu. We were there at the end of April just after it opened. It was clean and well-organized. The food is very good, but the portions are extremely small for what you pay. I eat like a bird and I left still hungry.

When we were there in April, there were three trains running. The conductor CM said that there was a 6 minute wait at the station between each train.
