Deluxe dining - quick reviews, tons of restaurants

Crystal Palace... We always try and do an 8:00 ADR here to get inside the park before rope drop. The food was good. My favorite is still and will always be the breakfast lasagna! Love the Pooh characters. Unfortunately eating here before park opening doesn't give you TOO much of a head start...

Deluxe dining - quick reviews, tons of restaurants

Chef Art Smith's Homecoming... We had a 6:30 ADR here and were seated promptly at 6:30. All I can say is....HOLY FOOD, BATMAN! I have never seen so much food in my life. If we had been thinking clearly we would have used only 3 credits between the 6 of us and split everything. But seeing as...

Deluxe dining - quick reviews, tons of restaurants

Coral Reef... We ate here back in 2008 and loved it but had not been back since so we decided to try it again. Our lunch ADR was for 1:05 and we checked in around 12:50. We were finally seated around 1:10. We were in the back of the very top and the way the walls are built, it made it...

Deluxe dining - quick reviews, tons of restaurants

Garden Grill... We have eaten here for lunch before and loved it! We decided to go for breakfast this time so we would be inside the park for rope drop. This meal is served family style and includes a skillet of warm cinnamon roles, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, tater tots and Mickey...

Deluxe dining - quick reviews, tons of restaurants

Casey's Corner... We have never eaten at Casey's so we decided to try it on our arrival day. One daughter had the Mac and cheese dog, one had the chili cheese dog, 2 had the mini corn dogs, and hubby and I split a foot long. Hot dogs were good, they basically tasted like a Costco hot dog. The...

Deluxe dining - quick reviews, tons of restaurants

Ohana dinner... Always a first night tradition for us. The meats were chicken (excellently cooked and flavored), peel and eat shrimp (delicious but I hate having to peel them) and steak (the round we got was too overcooked for us, we like ours medium rare). Noodles were yummy, excellent...

Deluxe dining - quick reviews, tons of restaurants

Landscapes of Flavors... We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Having eaten at several QS resort restaurants, this is definitely one of the better ones. Several different stations, with everything from burgers, to pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads and a world section with Indian, Italian...

We used a TA and just got our magic bands complete with luggage tags. They are hard to find in that box, though!

Chefs de France disaster. Never again.

We had the same experience at there many years ago. Took us almost an hour past our reservation time to be seated, then the dining experience was almost 2 hours. We have not eaten there since.

Tusker House or Boma for dinner

Food at Boma is SO much better than at TH. Bigger selection as well. Boma, hands down.

Deluxe Dining Plan and drink at BOG

Just wondering - is this 1 drink per MEAL or 1 drink per DAY? Also, we are on DxDDP and can the drink credit be used by someone else in the family? So for example could my husband or I use our 17yo’s drink “credit” for an alcoholic bev or does she have to use it on a smoothie or something?

Seven days DxDDP - sorry no pics but lots of restaurants!

CHEF MICKEY'S BREAKFAST: We eat here every trip at the kids' request. We mix up breakfast and dinner...this time it was breakfast. We always do a 7-7:15 seating so as to make it over to MK by rope drop. We were seated promptly and the food was the standard - I have never loved the food here...

Seven days DxDDP - sorry no pics but lots of restaurants!

HOOP DEE DOO DINNER: We have never done this before, as DH is NOT a fan of shows like this. However the kids were dying to go, and since we were on DxDDP we decided we could spare the 2 credits. We booked the 6:30 showing. Keep in mind, it can be a trek to get there. You could take the boat over...

Seven days DxDDP - sorry no pics but lots of restaurants!

1900 PARK FARE BREAKFAST: We always do a "break" day midway thru our trip to relax, recharge, and let me get some laundry done (fun, fun). Since it was our break day, I made breakfast ADR at 9:30 so we could sleep in a bit. We are a rope drop family so up at 6-6:15 most days. I chose this...

Seven days DxDDP - sorry no pics but lots of restaurants!

CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE DINNER: I was really wary of this one. Have read bad reviews, the menu is pretty limited, and it's hard to get an ADR. However with 4 daughters, including 2 who are obsessed with princesses, I decided we really needed to try it at least once. What better time than when...

Seven days DxDDP - sorry no pics but lots of restaurants!

PINOCCHIO VILLAGE HAUS LUNCH: I really enjoy doing a big breakfast, skipping lunch (or doing a snack), then a nice dinner. However, my kids tend to graze and need 3 meals per day, so we wandered into Pinocchio Village Haus around 11am even though we had eaten a big buffet breakfast that morning...

Seven days DxDDP - sorry no pics but lots of restaurants!

THE WAVE BREAKFAST: We have always loved doing a super early breakfast on the monorail before MK day, and we have eaten at The Wave only once before, so we decided to try it again. Our ADR was for 7:30 and we arrived around 7:20 and were seated immediately. The place was practically empty so...
